In this video, I'm laying out six game-changing tips, complete with real-life success stories, designed to not just boost your earnings but give you the edge in the competitive freelance market.
I have been editing video from past 4 years and I have learned a lot about freelancing and video editing, There are 1000s of tips that are available on the internet but it always come down to timeless principles.
I have shared some tips that are overlooked by a lot of freelancers when they are starting and it costs them their money, time and clients.
and who wants to lose clients? No one.
I have thought a lot before putting all of these tips together, I wanted to make one of the best treasures of knowledge for video editors and freelancers, there are a lot of videos on youtube that talks about some 'Tips and tricks for editors and freelancer to earn more money eventually' but I have seen mostly videos have basic tips and tricks which most of the editors already know and I didn't want to be just another guy doing same videos of tips and tricks for freelancers.
These tips are carefully thought of before putting together so that you understand that it's not some magic or a secret that some freelancers make good money and others don't, it's all about some timeless principles that they follow and some rules they abide by. You can be a great freelancer too, only thing you need to do is find your competitive advantage in the market and capitalise on it, it doesn't necessarily be of some high level thing, you competitive advantage can be as simple as giving videos on time, yeah. Majority of editors don't do this, I know it, I have seen it.
And don't worry this video is crafted in a way that it is understandable to all level of editors, I have explained in detail about little things in the video to boost up your productivity and confidence as a freelancer even if you are a beginner. And you know the best part? If you do implement these things for long enough time, you'll eventually land good clients and earn more for the same type of editing or something along the lines, not exactly same.

100% True with the Unsaid Requirement point, ek baar mujhe bhi issue hui thi thumbnail design ke time pe ye, I gave whole 2 hours and created the best thumbnail, kaafi dramatic, eye catching and all thi, but my client just said it's too much, she needs simple one, USS time mujhe samjh ni aayi uski baat, but next day I analyzed her channel then I realized her channel aesthetics are different, and then I created a simple minimalistic thumbnail with less efforts and she liked it, so I learned that day ki humein client ke perspective se bhi dekhna jaruri hai because he/she is not looking for our talent showcase, rather he/she just wants what works for them well.

7:30 Yes eak cheez aur bhi hai eak bar eak client ne mujhe apna edited video send kia kaha ke uska kuch better version bana do bas ishi type ki video bana do meine unki video analysis ki background noise kafi thi color grading aur transition timming sb out tha meine sab edit kia with better color grading transition timing and everything aur kuch few extra elements bhi add kr diye jo ke unki requirements nahi thi but he reject my video nit because of those elements which i add balke unho ne kaha ke bhai mein is se bhot ziada acha expect kr rha tha i said you send me a video aur kaha ke is jesi video bana do just is se better ho meine wohi kia jo uski mistakes thi unko set kia aue kuch extra elements motion wagera dal kr video ko aue enhance kr ke dikhaya but he said is se acha chahiye tha 2 hours ki mehnat waste gai meine kaha gai bana deta hu but then jo unho ne kaha i refuse to get the project because wo 100 rupee mein 1000 rupee wala project banwana chahte the ( money exmaple ke tor pr btaya ) bhai sometime client btata kam hai expect ziada rkhta hai aue pay bhi kam krta hai aur work 100 time ziada mangta hai
