Well Batch C sounds absolutely delicious. Basically everything I/we love in a bourbon. Great review as always. Like you said a little water with these proofs can help. Looking forward to picking up Batch C. Cheers Maverick!
I just compared my C917 vs B518, for scientific purposes of course. C917 won for me it was sweeter, lots of caramel, brown sugar and chocolate with some fruity notes and a bit of oak on the finish, not as much spice, oak and tannin's as the B518. The B518 had more spice/cinnamon, almost prickly. I have A119 and B519 but have not cracked them open yet. Great video, ECBP is definitely a great value and probably my favorite generally "available" bourbon currently on the market. Cheers.
Oh the 2017 B and C were special bottles as well. I think you nailed it...some come across as more sweet while while some come across with that peanut and oak flavor. The C918 is still my fav ever so far but this C919 came close. incredible mouthfeel. Cheers!

Hey Jason, great review as always. Wondering if you tried proofing the c919 batch down to the proof of the b519 and then comparing to see which is your favorite? I just wonder which would win if they had similar proofs?
Well when I added water to each the B seemed to get more peanut and the C stayed more sweet. Still has some peanut but more sweet. I would have to test that theory though.

Jason just cracked my first bottle of C919 now rewatching this video for the second time while sipping. Couple of ??s for you. 1.... What are your thoughts? Thanks for the great blinds of this ECBP
