Congratulations Kelly & Chris! Sweet Avery is so beautiful and such a joyful addition to your family. I love that you were so real, raw and honest about your entire experience. All the emotions, the physical feelings and changes both during and after birth. Sometimes I feel people hide the realities but not with you. You were honest about being uncomfortable, honest about the contractions while breastfeeding being painful, honest with your emotions being home and overwhelmed, I love your transparency. We need more mamas being honest about how this experience goes because it’s beautiful but it’s also a LOT on your mind and body! I hope your first week home with miss Avery is going well. Sending all the love and healing energy your way ❤

I so felt all of that!! I had two baby girls 15 and 16 years ago that were 16 months apart. I remember feeling those exact emotions and dreading nighttime!! Enjoy every moment-it goes by in the blink of an eye!!

Congratulations! The day I was scheduled to be induced they called and said .. sorry were full and dont have enough rooms for you. Well an hour later my water broke, ended up going in and luckily they found me a room haha!

So happy for you! I am 39 weeks with my first and I have been binge watching birthing videos to get an idea of what mothers go through. TODAY is my induced labor and im pretty nervous and excited!!! Im nesting like hell before 7:30pm comes. I am so excited for this new experience !!

this made me so emotional.. my last baby (#3) just turned 1 . & this brought back all those emotions of each time i had a baby. ❤so happy for you guys. remember you are all human & it’s a big adjustment for you all. my first adjusted fine with both siblings being born .. but my middle had a hard time with her little brother was born. it just takes time and patience. ❤ enjoy all these moments - but don’t forget to try and take care of yourself. ❤❤❤

Congratulations. She looks perfect! Ugh, birth in a hospital setting looks grueling and so much more painful than it needs to be!
My daughter just had her second child (first girl) 1/19. She was also VERY excited about her big hospital issue plastic cup! 😂😂
A back labour is when the pelvis opens (bones) to allow baby to move down, this is excruciating, very different from frontal labour which is muscular

I don’t live in Ohio but I live in Texas and even with insurance I paid like $4k out of pocket
My nursing contractions were worse with my second and my nurse told me they get worse with each baby 😃 lol
