  • The sacred mountains of 黄山 Huangshan, China have been a magnet for emperors, artists and monks for centuries. Its dramatic landscapes and granite peaks has inspired numerous classic paintings and poems in Chinese culture.
    As someone who has travelled and shot Yosemite extensively, I also refer to Huangshan as the Yosemite of China.
    I travelled here during the winter and autumn seasons over the span of a year. The visuals were captured in 8K resolution. If you enjoyed it, please like, share and subscribe!

    simply heaven on earth. china keep up the good work. the world needs to see Mount Huangshan.

      @@Yunmi-08 hahahaha. now you know nepal is china neighbor. we nepalese love china and china is our best friend and neighbor. we nepalese are very grateful to chinese people because china is helping build my country nepal. china is building nepal 2nd international airport in Pokhara city. china also building roads and highways in kathmandu city. i am very happy.
      China number 1.

      Shiva_ Linga haha,I am sorry that I did not know Nepal at the beginning. We have not mentioned it in our schools. The political classes are basically those in Europe and America. But there is really a beautiful place, I will try to play if I have the chance.

    I love to think of fog as lost spirits. When one cloud finds another I think of them as long lost loves, and they are finally ascending to a wonderful place.

    Most wonderfull place i have seen in my life. Words cannot describe the beauty of this mountain. I would live there for the rest of my life if i could. I been twice, staying in Xihai hotel.

    I was there 20 years ago. I carried both my mom and sister's backpacks and climb up TianZhu 天柱 mountain and down in an hour.

    I actually learned about Yellow Mountain in the book Dragon King's Son in Law. It was mentioned in passing when Hao Ren, Yanzi Zhao, and Conming Zhen make their way to the Fifth Heaven. So I wanted to see what Yellow Mountain actually looked like.

    Wow... Amazing video! I went to Huangshan too, only it was super foggy and icy! I'm hoping to show what people should expect if the weather is less favourable, and was hoping you'd be okay with me using ~10 seconds of your video to show how majestic it looks when it's clear. (with in video credit, as well as in the description). Please :)

      It's better to just share my work as is. My work is copyrighted. Unfortunately my lawyer requires even non commercial uses to be taken down. Otherwise it becomes hard to prosecute those who steal my work for profit.

      Thanks! I have a number of drone videos, include one I just released last month with 1 hour of drone footage from Iceland. In Huangshan, drones are not allowed.

    This video was way better than Mists of Pandaria, which could have been really good, if they didn't over stereotype with panda men, etc and made the yellow mountains look better

      @@Anysaberiscringe no,no,no。我说的是“黄帝”,而不是“皇帝”。这两个词在中文里发音相同,但是意思不同。
      “黄帝”是一个人名,是我们中国人传说中的祖先,而“皇帝”则是专制君主的意思。
      同时,“黄帝”也被道教认为是创始人,类似佛教的释迦摩尼的角色。
      唐朝的时候,因为皇室推崇道教,所以就用“黄帝”这个人的名字的第一个字符来命名这座山,这就是“黄山”这个名字的由来。
      但是“黄”这个字符在汉语里同时还代表黄色,所以很多人以为“黄山”的意思是“黄色的山”,其实这是一个误会。
