love the huge haul Hailey. I've never seen those Frostie's here but I totally love Frosted Flakes so those look like a fun snack. haven't had some instant noodles in ages but I actually love them haha

Hi Hailey, great haul. Have you tried using the mobility scooters to get around the supermarket? I don’t think Lidl do them but Tesco do.
I know this is going to Sound soooo stupid, but using one, is like admitting I'm never going to walk properly again, even though I already know it. I know it's stupid.
Steve keeps mentioning about mobility scooter for in town, but I keep Saying no 🙁
You actually went into a store! I'm impressed. The struggle is real trying to keep up with what those girls like and dislike. Ha, ha. Prices looked good. I could never get luncheon meat for those prices. Sugar is much cheaper. Had butter on my list and didn't get it, couldn't bear to pay the price. I'm sure sizes are a bit different. Haha caitlin is always the pastry, I Went purely Because I was forced to Go out and get the flu and covid jab so wanted to see if I could get round lidl, never again. I tried but it's still costing me now unfortunately.
I'm betting the lunch meat over there is much better quality, this has alot Of water, it's not amazing.
How is the weather in Oregan? We're all counting down your elections over there, Europe is watching for the result xxx
@@mummycookshomemade Shopping is my weekly "day at the gym". All that walking and lifting. Luncheon meat here is not very good. Back on the East Coast it's much better. And the bread is better. More American-Italians and they demand it. Found some nice salami recently. Made an Italian sub yesterday. Weather here is wonderful right now. Rain coming in Tues. Have a great weekend!

Good haul Hailey. I shopped in Lidl this week and my prices are different to your's! I'm wondering if Scotland pricing is cheaper than English prices? When you've time or are interested, would you type in a Scottish postcode on your app to see the difference please? Don't like to think you're paying more for the same.🤞🏴

Wow! Humongous haul! Great prices, too. I paid $2.49 for a head of iceberg! I think Aimee will have the donut and Caitlin will have the other pastry. Lol Glad you were feeling well enough to get out a bit. You'll probably be paying for that for a couple of days, eh? I'm in the middle of trying to get the fall deep housecleaning done. You were right on the cakes, and on me, still struggling lol won't go again, it was an eye opener on what I can't do now. I Only went because I had to get my flu and covid jab that morning, luckily no side effects from them. Xx

With the treats i'd bet Aimee has the doughnut and Caitlin the belgian bun. I only say that because I (Also Amy!) would choose the doughnut. Belgian buns are pretty good though.

Great haul, well I agree with your child Hailey 100%, I'm an adult and cannot have anything with bits in it, I get shredless marmalade and smooth Branston sandwich pickle.
I Don't eat yuohurt, was Put off as a kid cos of the lumps, now the thought of it makes me Gag, i wonder where she gets it from lol

@@mummycookshomemade Mashed potatoes did that to me, I was forced to eat lumpy potatoes. This was the school monitor at dinner time. She was shouting at me and I was only 5 she made me throw up too.
@@Annmarie-b8z me too i still wont eat mash i am 50 childhood tramua with food can last a lifetime i never forced my girls to eat what they said they didnt like when they were wee and i had 1 who lived for 10 years on chicken nuggets and chips for every meal and now they eat well and would give anything a go and all are capable of cooking from scratch ... win win px

My kids are expected to at least try something before they ddcide whether or not they like it. I Wouldn't force them, caitlin is slowly accepting stews, and they were a massive no no, half the problems I have is because of school dinners believe it or not. They don't like Scbool dinner, I have a hard time getting them to try it at home x
Love your 2 week shopping hauls. I thouggt you got a lot for your money . I went to lidl yesterday ( usually go Wednesday but had to go yesterday instead) wondering if the prices change on fridays 🤔 cos my shopping yesterday seemed a lot for what i got. Didnt need cupboatd stuff this week, or many toiletries & didny get many veggies as my husbsbd going away tue si ive got a friebd to stay so might not be doing much cooking. So didnt get the anount of stuff i usualky get but just seemed pricey even checked my receipt , but it was correct. But everything gone up , i will shut up with the rant now 😅. I like that thin sliced chill chicken ive bought some this week , the plain 1 & the herb 1 they do is also nice. And the fuet, i dont like it but my husbabd does hes into salami / chorozo. Salt & vinegar crisps hailey, they just the best flavour & i do agree thst lidl & aldi dupe pringles are really nice , i bought some plain ones this week for my xmas cupboard. Hope u enjoyed your trip to lidl
No I didn't enjoy it lol still paying for it lass, won't be going again, only was out because I had to have double Jab that morning.
Anyway, I think lidl is definitely not a cheap supermarket anymore, prob in my opinion tesco is cheaper xx
@@mummycookshomemade yes you probably right and at tesco 99% of the time you can get everything you wabt instead of having to go to different places. I love food shopping, it's the paying for it at the end & other customers who get on my tits that's the problem!!!, 😅🤣 example at check out queue when the person in front is too busy on their phone & unloading their trolley realky slow, that really gets my goat !! And people chatting their trolleys are in the way, uuugh. God I'm on a rant today !! 🤣😂😅

@@mummycookshomemade that would be funny. The biggest rant ever I had In asda years ago at the deli counter. Vert rude assistant, a young girl , and everything I asked for she was tutting, pulling pulling face like it was all a bit effort. I'd got quite a few things in my trolley but the final straw o asked for some pepperoni but i wanted it slices , she's like ooh we don't slice that, I said well that's funny cos I had it slice last week , so she rolled her eyes got it out the fridges well I just lost it, won't repeat my language as I will get put on the naughty corner but then I threw all the bits I had in my trolley at her, there's was pork pie ham, corned beef the lot few secs later my mother in law said ooh I've just seen bags being chucked at some1,!! I aaud yeah that was me !! It was so funny looking back. Assistant ran off crying , i got ticked off from the supervisor who I politely told where to get off !! 🤣

Ahh you know my girls well lol that's actually quite nice to know people are getting to know the family even if it's just what we like 😊 I was suprised at the amount of things they didn't have on the shelf, is this mormal for Lidl, it's the 1st time I've shopped in maybe a year xx
@@mummycookshomemade Yey 😊we all have our own preferences don’t we. I love the way you shop and then tell us who’s likely to eat what. I must admit I do a lot of my shopping online. I haven’t used Lidl for quite a while as my nearest one is further than most other supermarkets. Having said that I’ll tell you with great excitement we have a new one being built just half a mile away and I can’t wait!! Not sure when it opens but they are actually putting metal structure together now. Once I get in there doing my trolley dashes I can compare prices with you. My son lives in Tottenham and he buys a lot from Lidl especially the fresh fish and the prices are amazing 🤩 xx
You got some great items my beautiful sister you sound like you're getting better praying for you my sister, I was under the weather myself just getting on the men's today❤❤
Sometimes it must look as Tho we buy things ONLY for each child, it's not that, it's just who is more likely to eat it and why I might buy different versions of yogurt or snacks or cereal etc esp with caitlin having a severe nut allergy. And not to forget fussiness lol although aimee is lightening up but by hit.
I noticed the prices are Much higher in there now, maybe it's just me becUse it's been so long since I've been in 🤔 but you will be able to get in yours before Xmas by the sound of it if the frame is up, doesn't Take long after that xx

I found it to be much more expensive than I remember, and less on the shelves, but it was about 10am, so whether they were still stocking up I don't know xx
