David, Daniel, Donald Cerrone is a legend 🙌
Hahahha I didn't know if anyone else caught that
🤣🤣
That shit drove me crazy
Good ole David. Been a fan for years
which f'ing announcer didn't do his homework here?
This fight was fucking wild lol. They both dropped each other MULTIPLE times. Young cowboy was a savage
There was zero head movement in this fight 😂
@@rapperogsmooth2783 Cerrone has never had great head movement sadly. It was his undoing many times in addition to all the other holes in his game. Now his chin is gone, Joe Lauzon may only need one shot to end the fight.
@Mad Gavin his chin is gone ? You do realize that even now cowboy is laughably more durable than Joe . Getting knocked out by Conor and Gaejthe doesn’t make you chinny it makes ya human ya dork . Alex Morono caught him clean anybody that gets caught that clean gets hurt . Chinny means you go out you go out stiff face first . Cowboy always gets folded against the cage or stopped trying to wrestle for a single when the ref has seen enough .
@@madgavin7568 He was shockingly bad against Nate Diaz. He just kept on taking shots and didn't even bother defending them.
@@madgavin7568 Now he's going to fight Jim Miller. I think Jim will win. What about you?
Must have been about 15 years ago I bought a razor Rob McCullough instructional kickboxing DVD LOL. I had no idea that he was in the wec back in the day!
let me guess, you were 18 when you bought it?
i didn't bought the DVD myself, but i learned the basic stance, punches and kicks from Rob McCullough videos uploaded to youtube. i think it was 10 years ago or something.
UFC Hall of Famer David Cerrone
Maybe if he didn't pull out via diarrhea. poor cowboy had the runs so he ran. Not hall of fame material
@@pizzacatz3174 bro PLEASE tell me that you’ve thrown up on your hands and knees before deciding “yeah I’ll get up and fight someone for 15 minutes now”. You make it sound like it’s not a valid reason not to fight someone else
@@pizzacatz3174Typing this on your phone probably taking a shit is the saddest and funniest shit ever
Man I miss the WEC
Alot of GREAT talent back then 💪
They were good but the fighters today are AMAZING! WEC was more wars and toughness rather than technique and Longevity like today mostly is
That Aldo Featherweight belt run was one of the greatest MMA champ runs of all time. WEC Aldo was a monster.
@@AMkoreann Faber before him too
I was blown away by fights that WEC put on, often during early Saturday mornings. Faber, Aldo, Brown Zombie etc. Solid weight classes then and now
I liked wec but some of the champions were annoying. Don't get me wrong they are fighters some of the shit they pulled
I hope Cowboy see's HoF status.. such a legend!
Such a shame he never won a belt.
He's grandfathered in even without the belt. He's a legacy guy, it's already common known fact. When cowboy was on he was ON 🔥
NO doubt about it HOfer forsure
So much talent came out of the WEC. Cerrone, Pettis, Faber, Cruz, Aldo. A great era.
WEC is the reason the UFC adopted weight classes under 170.
Sonnen, Condit, Korean Zombie too. Even Poirier and both Diaz brothers I think.
I love cowboys sportsmanship
I can’t believe it went the distance after that first round.
a\\\\\\\
Little did we know what a legend of the octagon Cerrone would become. Gate keeper or otherwise, you can't deny this man's career success in the fight game.
In due time you can become a gate keeper and even with that title, it's still one to honor and be please with. Cowboy was never a champion but always a fan favorite. Shows an incredible skill set and is definitely a shooter.
He fought for the championship multiple times. He's beyond a "gatekeeper". He's a former title challenger a title that most fighters do not get let alone a championship.
Who remembers the WEC Faber days. Epic
Back when I thought urijah was actually a contender with Championship level for the UFC
Then he got absolutely CRUSHED. By Jose Aldo , and then by Petr and we'll any other dude on top
@@langtryvlogme
He was past his prime when he fought Yan and Aldo was also a WEC fighter so not a great example.
@@joebenson528 back in wec times I thought urijah was enough for the UFC, and he wasn't when he got there.
I don't see why it's a bad example. Its a true example of how urijah had faded by the times the UFC was the real deal
@@langtryvlogmeHe definitely was good enough for the UFC and put up a good fight against Cruz in the 2nd. There's no shame in being 2nd best behind Cruz. Even beat him as I'm sure you know.
Cowboy has always been nervous until he gets hit. I forgot how much fun this fight was.
bro wtf im 5 minutes in and theres been like 5 knockdowns how in the world have i never heard of this fight
The commentating was a little rough back then huh?
The good old days of WEC, this league was one of the best ever.
Nearly locks in armbar...
Referee stops it for the mouthpiece lol
He only stopped it after Rob reversed position and got on top.
@@DedicatedSpartan nah
@@DedicatedSpartan He should've restarted it back in that position.
Razor Robb was one of my favorites back then. True legend.
What a war this match was, amazing heart shown by both.
Two incredible fighters, one incredible fight.

Cowboy has had like three primes.
David, Daniel, Donald Cerrone is a legend
so young lol. I remember exactly where I was at for this event.
Where were ya? The suspense is killing me
@Jcor Or with his drunk uncle, Joey, who's a pretty good guy by all accounts.
Where were you?
Man cowboy used to have insane hip rotation when he would throw those head kicks
He still does he doesn’t throw it a lot
@@aldosaz3702 Truth.
Cowboy is a legend going to miss him hope he enjoys retirement when he is done
"David Cerrone"
Man the WEC was AWESOME!!! Some great events!!!!
I miss the hell out of it
6:57 The switch that masvidal used against Darren Till
Good catch
Gotta love David Cerrone. Thanks Frank
I miss the custom shorts
I remember watching these fight live on free tv
This is one of the greatest fights I never knew about
14:11 That made me grab my own chest and just imagine having the wind violently knocked out of me that was a viciously beautiful shot
"David" Cerrone is one the most dangerous wec fighters 🤣
WEC was the ecw of mma💯
It was a veritable cornucopia of the lighter weight guys yeah
Eh strikeforce. I’m convinced that people actually died and they just covered it up in a government conspiracy
And Pride was Ring of Honor, now ONE FC is Aew
This was cowboy in his prime.
Comes at you from every direction - by round 3 Rob
was like, okay, what's next.
On this one card there was this fight, Aldo, Sonnen, Faber, Filho, Garcia and Pulver. Stacked card.
David Cerrone?? I had to turn on the captions at least 5 time, bless your silly little hearts..
How on earth can a body recover that quickly from being knocked down? Cerrone is a beast! And... the announcer doesn't even know his frickin' name.
Sometimes announcers impose themselves a little too much
into the actual competition - so that the fight becomes more
about THEM. But they've got the Adrenaline going as well -
and are usually as fired-up as the fighters.
The announcer is Frank Mir lol
Cowboy is the reason i felt in love with mma
What a sick fight. Never seen this one before.
UFC should upload more WEC fights
WEC was great. Free MMA on cable.
If only WEC became the final company. Maybe we'd have world class MMA on free TV all the time.
He called them David cerrone and Dave cerrone like 10 times in this match
Who cares poopy cowboy pulled out to diarrhea. He lost all creditably
I swear he called him robert once too
And Daniel
3:22 one of the commentators said David Cerrone
And Daniel and even Robert!
Это потрясающей бой, оба бойца очень крутые ударники , самая тяжелая работа ,рассудить кто круче. Пожалуй посмотрю ещё раз.Ковбой конечно показал лучший вариант.
That Rob guy is no joke.
Cowboy used to take fight after fight on short notice against killers. No shame in his slowing down in his later years.
Surprised Cerrone's shins are still intact.
F the ref for waiting so long to give McCullough a chance to get his mouthpiece back. There were lots of opportunities.
Красивый бой, молодцы оба бойца, но который повыше сильнее
More of these WEC fights from back then have to be shown for the younger crowd to see and for those like me that was watching since those days. I remember when the guy's from TapOut had a series going on traveling the road to find fighters to help promote and invest into Cowboy was the 1st fighter.
Great light weight fighters came over to the UFC from WEC, fighters like Cowboy, Aldo, Pettis, Henderson and the man Clay Guida and more.!!!
the best fighting ever
their power is equal to each other.
and the most important thing is they respect to each other.
Awesome Fight 🔥
Loved the commentary too 👌
So, Cowboy has always had a bad guard and terrible head movement. A miracle he's still around and still dangerous. Hope to see him win this Saturday.
He rarely allows his opponents to just tee off on him, he gets them into a thai plum, or shoots for a TD if they try to follow up after a big shot. And his height and reach were keeping him safe from the worst blows at least. Also we have to mention he had above average chin.
Mc Cullough deserves recognition also
This David Cerrone guy looks pretty good.
"The speed and height of David Cerrone" lol
If you get mounted and can't get them off grab around them and pull them down to you and hold them and they'll restart you on your feet
The belal special move is undefeated 💯💯💯
More WEC fights!
Cowboy's striking was so crisp early in his career.
I was surprised he couldn’t touch Nate daiz tho
@@Emperor_1971 He bottled it in the big moment as he did in most of his big fights. Also never even tried to defend the head shots.
Cowboy is for real He will fight anyone anytime 😊 his victory walk is like Just another day at work
.."Smart people learn from everything and everyone, average people from their experiences and stupid people already have all answers" Socrates..
That's good. I like that.
This a good Fight. Both of them fought a war and they respects each other
Razor Rob McCullough
Love these classic fights!
miss this cowboy 🔥💯
Dude fcked up both names multiple times … FIRED… LoL
Great fight! Hats off to both fighters!
David Cerrone is still undefeated
this is a seriously classic fight ive been telling people about for years and it's finally on youtube in full HD!!!!!
Ive always loved cowboys fight...so fluid and well rounded . Its a shame his career took such a downturn the last five years or so. Fucking legend.
Who else scored it 30-26 Cerrone?
Cowboy is tough. Damn.
My man called him David Cerrone constantly
Bh bh bh y
Epic brawl. Cowboys’ a beast
Hell of a fight
Two warriors throwing some “Big Leather Shots”
David Cerrone
Sounds so goofy how they constantly call him "the cowboy"
Gotta love David cerrone 😂 amazing fight!!
That last knee look like he broke his ribs
Yeah.. CB had terrible defense early on, but his bounce back was unmatched… and usually it took a couple hits just for him to get going.
Man cowboy used to be something else those days
😱😱😱😱😳😳😳 fucking fights like this remind us why we love this sport!!!!! Guys have better defense now days. Elusiveness was not in either of there minds. Rock em sock em warbots that was epic!!!
素晴らしい試合を見せてもらった。両者とも凄い!! お二人に敬意を表する!!!
I didn’t realize donald was 39 wow thought he was in his 20s
This is epic, those WEC tb fights
My favourite MMA fight of all-time.
W.A.R. Cowboy 💘
Talk about a sleeper!!! Great fight
Commentary drove me crazy but good fight
Muted it towards the end.
Two true warriors. Hell yeah! thanks for sharing
great FKNG FIGHT!
great fight.
GO GET SOME DONALD CERRONAY
Your a legend Cowboy
Back when the OG Tapout crew put Cerrone on 👌
Future hall of Fame ..
That Dave guy did pretty gooder in there.
RESPECT
In my opinion scorecards should be 30/26 by Cerrone
Nothing but style
A clear victory. No need to guess who won. the judges got it right.
Fight of the year contender right there
