My brother died years ago. He was 24 when he died. When i was cleaning his apartment then later, i found record player and this was the last song he had listened in this world.
On August 3, 2002 the man that I was planning to marry and the father of the baby girl that I was 4 months pregnant with put this song on repeat and turned it up all the way. He sang it over and over and let the entire neighborhood know that it was for his soon to be "Wifey". The part that he sang the loudest was the line about dying. He had just turned 21 a couple of months before. That night he left his house with his brother and a friend. That was the last night of his life. His friend was driving and crashed the car. The only survivor was his brother. He told me that my baby daddy talked about me right up to the crash. So ironically I was on his mind when he died. This song will forever make my heart swell with the love that I still have for him and the appreciation for the daughter he blessed me with. I know he is watching over us.

This song seems to be loved by many, often I see comments about how people want to use it at their wedding yet this song isn't a promise of love nor devotion. "Always" is about love lost, mistakes were made she left hence the lyric "when he says those words you've been needing to hear and "I wish I was him cause those words are mine to say to you till the end of time" are examples of the end of the relationship and how she found someone new. In short I love his song but its not the love song its often made out to be.
Bon Jovi was my mums favourite band so they always remind me of her, she's died when I was 4. All I know about her is what my brothers have told me because they were old enough to remember and know her. Apparently I'm the spitting image of her from music to dress sense even the way I look well apart from being ginger. I wish I knew more about her but the bridges with my 2 oldest brothers are burnt and the youngest of them won't talk about her so I doubt i will be able to.

This song seems to be loved by many, often I see comments about how people want to use it at their wedding yet this song isn't a promise of love nor devotion. "Always" is about love lost, mistakes were made she left hence the lyric "when he says those words you've been needing to hear and "I wish I was him cause those words are mine to say to you till the end of time" are examples of the end of the relationship and how she found someone new. In short I love his song but its not the love song its often made out to be.
Bon Jovi was my mums favourite band so they always remind me of her, she's died when I was 4. All I know about her is what my brothers have told me because they were old enough to remember and know her. Apparently I'm the spitting image of her from music to dress sense even the way I look well apart from being ginger. I wish I knew more about her but the bridges with my 2 oldest brothers are burnt and the youngest of them won't talk about her so I doubt i will be able to.
