David Gilmour on performing live: “You know, once you’ve had that guitar up so loud on the stage, where you can lean back and volume will stop you from falling backward, that’s a hard drug to kick.”
The guitar solo is so powerful not just because it’s so good but because it’s perfectly placed in the song. “No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun,” and then the guitar plays the anguish of the middle aged man looking back and seeing a wasted life.
You know you’ve made a great song when you see an outpouring of emotion from people of different races, ethnicities and different parts of the country/world. And the song truly is timeless (no pun intended). It changes in each stage of your life
Keep listening boys & girls Pink Floyd gets better & better & every song takes you away one of my favorite bands from my childhood....and I grew up listening to them in a land far, far away.....your parent probably heard of them.... brilliant.
My brother bought me my first Pink Floyd album and its dark side of the moon...he bought me two, one I played the other my dad incased in glass, so I have two first print albums!! Their concert was fantastic!!
I absolutely LOVE watching Ruben getting Gilmoured during the solo. The eyes roll back into the head. I have had the exact same reaction to that solo for the last 47 years too, my friend.
I always enjoy folk's reactions when they don't keep pausing the song. I remember first hearing songs when they came out on the radio, we couldn't pause that!😂
weeboo always has the greatest reactions Great video guys This song is my fav song of all time..When you sit down and read the words to how no truer words have ever been spoken. Dog is my second fav pink floyd song. Two suns in the sunset third but no one pays attention to The final cut.. Sad to its a great album. Anyway keep up the amazing work you guys do here,,
Blessed to be born in a time of the talents of Roger Keith, David Gilmour and George Waters...it's like having Beethoven, Mozart and Clementi together...you have better odds of getting struck by lightning 17 times in the same spot on a Saturday morning in July than this ever happening again.Just simply an era for music that is absolutely stellar.
50 year anniversary of this album and still the best album of all time. Still in top 100 billboard. Definitely if DSOTM was released today, todays artist be blown away by this album. Something never heard nothing like it
I am nearly subscribed to all these reactors, but my favorite is HalfLife Sistah because she shows more emotions during her & her husband, Wolf's channel. But I like Vin & Sori because they are more open minded even though they are Christians.
Vin n Sori wind me the fuck up,they turn a song reaction 4/5/6/7 minutes into a 45 minute,35 minutes of that its talking misinformed bullshit about some sky fairy and religion, grind my gears!! Jacob Cal's reaction to this was spot on
The Manic Queen Yes! Good idea! (If there are enough reaction videos of course!). Thank you. I haven't heard these tracks you requested in a good few years myself too ! Nice! Next upload will be Pink Floyd's Great Gig In The Sky.
@@MultiReactAThon BRILLIANT! also tracks design for life, no surface all feeling, la tristesse durera, motorcycle emptiness etc... amazing live band too! thanks again! 😊😉
Great to see Stanley Kubrick react to Pink Floyd in the top left !
Haha! Yes its a Kubrick clone! It's a real shame RUclips killed his channel though...! FatherAndSonReacts channel.
BRUH! 😂
Speaking of Kubrick, there are some fun videos around where people have edited Floyds Echoes to the 2001 stargate sequence.
This is great lol
Yup, and Salman Rushdie
Also the guy on the Taliban most wanted list, the guy they grabbed who looked like he was just waking up.
This is cool it’s like having a room full of mates
David Gilmour on performing live: “You know, once you’ve had that guitar up so loud on the stage, where you can lean back and volume will stop you from falling backward, that’s a hard drug to kick.”
Yes! I watched that video a few days ago!! Must be an amazing feeling.
Thank you for featuring my channel, but ALSO linking your viewers to it ;) ♥
The guitar solo is so powerful not just because it’s so good but because it’s perfectly placed in the song. “No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun,” and then the guitar plays the anguish of the middle aged man looking back and seeing a wasted life.
The last lines of the first verse are some of the most powerful and true lyrics ever
You know you’ve made a great song when you see an outpouring of emotion from people of different races, ethnicities and different parts of the country/world. And the song truly is timeless (no pun intended). It changes in each stage of your life
To the man who stated that THIS SONG IS LIKE AN EXPERIENCE.... BUDDY YOUR JOURNEY HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN MY FRIEND...
IMHO, best guitar solo ever.
At least up there with Confortably Numb!!!
Keep listening boys & girls Pink Floyd gets better & better & every song takes you away one of my favorite bands from my childhood....and I grew up listening to them in a land far, far away.....your parent probably heard of them.... brilliant.
I just turned 21 and grew up with this my whole life and its so amazing seeing everyone enjoy it
Notice how everyone stopped everything to absorb the solo. Very few people can accomplish that.
David Gilmour is a master of it.
I was about to mention that too, Gilmour's solo says as much as the lyrics and still speaks to your soul after all these years. Amazing
My brother bought me my first Pink Floyd album and its dark side of the moon...he bought me two, one I played the other my dad incased in glass, so I have two first print albums!! Their concert was fantastic!!
Ruben and Jacob just taking it all in. PinkMetalHead is young and really gets this.
From 7:08 on cracks me up. Everyone talking at the same time.
@@AdieAdie17 beat me to it...

The bands name is a combination of the first names of two black American bluesmen named Pink Anderson and Floyd Council

Pausing is blasphemy! Hence I edit out any reactors pause during the track. I hope that works well!
@@MultiReactAThon thanks
You could have had an epic Brady Bunch intro, I've definitely seen them all.
0.25 You know that scene in Back to the Future, where all the clocks go off & Marty realises he's late for school... :-)
Do The great gig in the sky 🙌🙌🙌
TheGMaster LECAROS Absolutely! I plan to do this as the next upload ! Thank you !

Skip William “show me the way bih”
You can hear the flange, perfect sync. Good job!
themaxdg Thank you! Getting it perfect sync (or near as possible) is most important ! Enjoy!
When you see that every reactor has their channel name in the video you know the uploader really cares.

Ditto
What a contradiction. They are open mind because they Christians - as opposed to all of the 1.1 billion who arent?
@@spazimdam ♥
Weaboo reacts with the hype man intro right before the lyrics drop, on beat none less
Don't know why but I'm getting a huge Brady Bunch vibe....
Wwwwwwwwow!!! 😂😂😂
Cool. Do it again.

@@MultiReactAThon Comfortably Numb is the obvious next choice.
Allan Petterson Yes! Good choice!
"Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe and send me a sample of your DNA!"
Cool. Now you could do War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Several many people have reacted to it.
Monte Lang no one gives a shit out of Black Sabbath. Ozzy did himself a favor
Que buena musica
Also The Holy Bible album by Manic street preachers, and Everything must go album also by them should be reviewed too if possible! 😊
