Tilt that motor up about 8 degrees. Need a rooster tail and gain 4 mph faster. Will lose a little steering but would be a little faster. Change that pitch prop to about 26p 3-blade
Thank you, May give that a try. I actually was surprised at the speed I was able to get. Just bought the boat and did a few things to get it up to speed so to say. Getting up in the 60's with just me in it and a light load. The hull on this boat only weighs 1050 pounds. I'm sure that helps.
Sorry rev, Didn't think anyone would think that title was real. No watercraft is capable of Mach speed. There was a guy in Australia that got a boat over 300MPH though. Pretty cool. Thanks for watching. :)
@@BRADRANCH that’s an attempt at humor! BTW, back in my Bass Club Tournament days I went 77 mph in a 22’ Allison, way too fast on the water for me, a big gator or gar surfacing at the wrong time could be bad.
@@revolvermaster4939 I had an older model bullet. Couldnt drive it or keep it on the pad but it was crazy fast, I sold it and I prefer a better ride vs speed. Guess I'm getting old LOL. And yes, It is dangerous. watch those bass boat crash videos and it will change the way you think. Thank you for watching. :)
i used to have a evinrude one it was nice

Does it have a Jackplate? That will help as well. If you put a Jackplate on it, inspect the transom. It may need reinforcements.
Looks like you’re about 700 mph shy of supersonic
