Game Information
Rise to all the challenges of the most comprehensive, realistic and demanding rally simulation ever developed. Dive into the heart of the action and drive the cars from the 2022 WRC championship, including the new hybrid models.
2022 will see the WRC transition to the hybrid era. This is a revolution for the rally world, significantly affecting performance, changing strategies and making drivers and teams adapt.
In terms of gameplay, new mechanics have been integrated to represent the demands of the hybrid engines. In order to win, you have to carefully manage your battery by adapting your engine mapping throughout the special stages you take part in.
As community satisfaction is always a priority , you can now share customised livery and stickers with other players. The best creations will be rewarded and highlighted.
For fans of competition, the new Leagues mode lets players challenge opponents with a similar level online. Finish ahead of your competitors to move up the ladder in the Legends category.
WRC Generations includes more content than ever before in a rally game.
- 750 km of unique special stages in 22 countries
- 49 teams from the 2022 season (Rally1 / Rally2 / Junior WRC)
- 37 legendary cars plus additional bonuses
- 165 timed special stages
In order to make the representation of the championship even more realistic, a completely redesigned Rally Sweden environment has been added, with 6 brand-new special stages in the Umea region.

Love that game. The cars are so so much more responsive than those in Dirt Rallye 2.
It also has a permanent automatic clutch. It also has problems detecting gear. It also only moves when you push the car at like 65% clutch. So yea. DR2 is more realistic (except for asphalt/tarmac physics)

DR2.0 is kinda better. WRCG has weird throttke input and the physics feel a little floaty I've played it for long enough, and I've also played DR2.0 long enough. So my opinion stands.
@@akinahara Yeah, agreed. WRCG feels too sterile compared to dirt rally 2. I dunno, it has less to do with even the REUHLISM part of it and more with presentation. Rally is pretty bombastic sport when it comes down to it, and DR2 still relays the feeling of being on the edge of failure the best of all modern rally games.

WRC Generations looks better than WRC10.
I was really disappointed with WRC 10. poor sound, graphics, bug, handling, lag..
WRC 1, WRC 2, WRC 6, WRC 8, WRC 9 is my favorite series. I love WRC game so much.
The colours look fantastic in Generations! Even better than 9 in my opinion. They really did a 180 from the colour palette of WRC 10

Glad to see they’re finally learning how to make the cars feel like they have some weight and momentum. I can’t stand how jerky the physics in most rally games are, as if the cars have no weight/inertia behind them.
People say 9 is the best for DualShock. Would you agree? Should I take gen over 9 and 10?

@Godot no it is just the camera, because it doesnt rotate as much with the car. physics in game are excellent, and there are many reviews on line to tell you that as well if you don't believe me

I love this game, even though im terrible at it. Its mostly because the tires are too slippery or something I’m just not used to it. Like bro how you so good and crash 😭 I crash like at least 30 times per game

@@Dooggey. In formula 1 they call it steering lock, Happens when a driver over steers the car, and the car refuses to turn or turns in other direction. Not sure what they call it in a rally race, may be its the same.

It's very strange, it looks as if the car is floating a few centimeters over the road, it moves very unnaturally over the road and in the curve it also looks strange. This is not how you play rally in 2024.
This takes me years back in time.
This definitely needs to be improved. No matter what you do to set it up, it won't go away. Very unfortunate. The landscape doesn't look any better, no landscape looks like that and I have the feeling that the makers never take a walk because then they would know what it looks like.
