Belmo was so dominant, people think there is something "wrong". This is truly one of the hardest sports to be dominant at because there is so many people and so much variance. He barely missed the cut by a few pins, it's fine lol

Heavily agree with this, anyone who really bowls or knows a lot about the game just understands that there is a large number of factors to take into account at this level, and it's like math - if one variable is wrong, it could lead to bad ball reaction, missed spare, etc. And when you have to average 220 on these patterns, it's just tough

We were looking at this pattern in my league last night. I immediately dubbed it the “nope pattern”. Lots of season left Belmo, keep em rolling.

Got the chance to bowl on it yesterday. First couple games it felt pretty good but by game 3 things started to breakdown and the pushdown was unimaginable. Had to slow down over 2 mph and change zones completely and the ball still wouldn't move. Definitely the craziest thing I've bowled on coming from a high school bowler lol

Jason, while it is hard to watch, it is important to watch because it shows how incredibly difficult it is to be at the top and preform at that top level all the time. I am confident that you will learned from this and will be able to bounce back to the top level. Looking forward to the video of the next 8 games. Jillian, love the Tetris graphics, very creative. Belmo is his hero and has been ever since he watched dude perfect trick shot bowling. Please keep up the content as he loves watching Jason bowl! Thanks for always making my kids day!

Belmo, thanks for all the effort pushing this, it’s remarkable insight into the tournament. Sometimes I wish the PBA wasn’t so much about ball selection. I know there are choices to be made about where to play, angles, speed, rotation, etc. But at this level right now, ball selection seems to be seems to be the primary factor.

I think Belmo needs to have that “chip” on his shoulder like he had the first 5-6 years.
He was relentless, aggressive and his competitors feared him.
He’s good at playing mind games with his competition.
    Just sayin
    Let’s go Belmo

Very impressive although you didn't make the shows, you were pins away. Everyone will always be chasing your tail as far as wins and accolades. If anything, this will make you that much stronger and bowling on this crazy pattern will inspire confidence for you for the rest of the tournaments this year. We were watching all the action on BowlTV!

Jason, I have always admired your bowling skills and I truly believe that as of today, you are the GOAT! But as recent as last year, you have not bowled like you are capable of bowling. I noticed that in most of the tournaments you participated in, and in almost every single game you played, you never played a clean game. There was always an open frame in between. I noticed this sequence again during this US Open tournament. I just hope that you will be able to make the adjustments if there are any to make, and wish you all the best the rest of this season! Are you going to win more majors in the future? I bet you will.

@louie3299 that's still not explaining why you need them, they can practice the pattern before hand, find the ball, bowl with the ball, you throw one ball at a time I don't see the need to bring 10 balls with you

I have a question for anyone willing to listen and help ...
I cannot get to lanes at this point, health and finances; but I want to learn ... as much as possible. I want to understand everything about a ball, pin up/down, etc. in as technical detail as possible. I want to understand how others approach the process at all levels.
I am a lefty. My current understanding is I want to:
be consistent behind the line. focus and consistency is key. starting point, eyes on target, pacing, step, release become second nature.
hit the 1-2 at around 7 degrees and err on the side that would give you a better leave. Play smart. Play the long game. We want to strike every ball, but be in the moment and what it requires.
understand what kind of game suits you (hardest to do without being on the lanes). From one hand with thumb, rev rate, speed, ball weight ... so you can choose a ball range that compliments your natural style and comfort.
    proper gear, measurements and layouts
understanding lanes and how the act, the balls react, develop over time; how your arsenal of balls work with you for these conditions.
Any sites, channels, playlists ... anything I can dive into, so when I can get back to the lanes, I can try to take knowledge, watching as much as I can trying to see what the ball is doing, slow motion, etc. and work on applying it.
Yeah, I'm real fun at parties ... because I don't go! lol I can't help but dive into something all in; so anyone willing to assist in my indulgence I will greatly appreciate!
Take care all, hope your year has been well, your future is blessed, and your averages are ever increasing!
