- Join Taylor, Sarah, and Janek for their first time rides on this 2021 inverted roller coaster by B&M. The ride was built on top of previous buildings within Gröna Lund, winding around other attractions. It's visually very impressive to look at...let's see how it rides!

Because this coaster is so butter smooth and not that intense, I feel like this would be a coaster you could ride 15 times in a row and never get tired.
I think the restraints will be annoying after that many laps
I rode it 6 times in a row so I can confirm
The Nordics love their rerideable coasters. Same with Fønix, there was literally a challenge on Danish TV for how many times in a row people could ride it before feeling bad. They ended after 68 consecutive rides or something like that!
I rode it 30 times in one day
@@Jacob-Simonsen theyy really dont lol, they are extremely comfortable and no headbanging
I think this ride is a perfect example of how you can make a masterpiece of a thrill coaster that doesn't rely on intensity. It definitely packs some forces in a few places, but it's also very graceful and floaty. And yet, it feels very complete with the setting and surroundings, the flow is fantastic, it's smooth and never stops being fun despite it not ripping your legs off. I loved it in 2021 and even more in 2022
Save Dragster
Even though the ride experience doesn’t look pretty forceful. You gotta admit that it gives a pretty good view of its surroundings.
It may not be the best invert in Europe, it may not have the most exciting layout and it may be quite forceless, but you just have to appreciate how they even managed to built it into this park and still make a solid ride.
Much better than kvasten tho
@@Unbreakable245 kvasten is a family coaster though so it's not meant to be very extreme
I've waited for this and Im glad that you enjoyed my favorite ride at Gröna Lund!!! Im so happy 😆
B&M has still got it 😍
Monster is my favourite B&M invert after Nemesis. I was so surprised at how good it really is. The first drop is fantastic!
Love or hate the rides, you gotta at least appreciate what Gröna Lund has done with getting the rides crammed in!
This is indeed the newest b and m invert, amd it looks awesome!
I’m so happy Monster has the old B&M OTSRs because the vest restraints suck
OTSRs on a brand new B&M? Not something I expected to see, but I’m happy nonetheless.
Given all the restrictions that they had to work with? I think B&M did a hell of a job cramming in what they did. Its a perfect addiction to what is a Family Park.
I felt that Bunny hop
I wasn't too impressed by it, but it was still fun
I rode this the first time last year in september. My first ride was also in the backrow. As you said in the video, it was kinda boring after the first inversion. I loved the first drop i think that's the best element on the ride but besides that, it's nothing special. At the end of that day i got a night ride in the front row, that was actually WAYYY better than my first ride. Still wasn't the biggest fan. But i'm generally not the biggest fan of B&M inverts. I did Black Mamba, Nemesis Inferno & this and wasn't a big fan of any of them tbh. I even liked the new SLC at energylandia more😂 But the ride looks amazing and it's crazy that gröna lund put it in this tight space!
How on Earth can they dispatch so quickly? When they came back to the station they just rolled right in! Some parks could learn from GL's ops!
I wonder why B&M went back to the over-shoulder restraint instead of the Banshee vests or new-patent lap bars
I guess it was a customer choice. I think the owners of Gröna Lund (who iirc are actually enthusiasts) didn't really like the vest restraints and so requested the traditional otsr instead for better comfort.
Like Banshee, still has the positive Gs but a lot more floaty inversions than whippy.
This is a front row coaster. Specially at night
Never even thought of that but That sounds amazing
Aww man I love me a good helix though. Look at how tight it looks at 1:01
Did you ride it in the front? That's probably where all the near misses and close up stuff really has an effect.
Yes, we did right after we got off this cycle!
@@CoasterStudios Nice! Was it better up there?
@@maxhagenauer24 the back was better
when people say this is forceless, it’s not true. I have been on intimidator and it’s very forcefull, i expected it to not be forcefull at all, i was wrong, the drop was pretty forcefull.
How did her glasses stay on 😮
it supposedly pulls 4.5 gs… more than montu but it doesn’t feel as intense it might be how long it’s sustained
4.5 gs on the drop
thats a good lil amount honestly
Rip original monster
Where is gröta land?
Stockholm, Sweden
I bet it’s great up front
It's more forceful in the back, in my opinion
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi I prefer great visuals over slightly more intense forces so it could just be me
@@twistedcoasters1533 Ah that's completely understandable!
then they have the normal restraints and not vest
Mines would be gone
Rear center seats, of course it won't be as a good. Ride front first then whatever.
the sidemen came here for a video
Hals über kopf but it's b&m
A new B&M invert without vest restraints? Say less.
i like the vest restraints. it has 0 airtime wtf does it matter
@@R7SkIlZ this one does tho :sku
Worst B&M invert?
