- James Marsden and 'Boy Meets World' stars were among those who wrote letters in support of Nickelodeon's Brian Peck. Court documents from the former Nickelodeon employee and convicted sex offender's trial - including the 41 letters in support - were unsealed for the first time in nearly 20 years for the docuseries 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.' At the time, the identity of the child actor who was abused by Peck was unknown publicly, however in the third episode of the series, actor Drake Bell came forward, revealing he was the child in question.

The alarming amount of people defending James Marsden WILLINGLY, after I suggested boycotting the upcoming Sonic 3 movie (which James plays Tom Wachowski), is disgraceful.

This is disgusting. Victim blaming a child? Wow. Doesnt matter how that monster spun it to his friends and celebrities. YOU ARE BEING ACCUSED OF HARMING A CHILD!!! Once they saw the vicitim regardless of who it was tbey shouldve been ANOTHER chance to stop supporting but nope their they were. There is no excuses that could be made another than making a public apology to Drake. For the letter and for being in the damn court room.

That segment in quest on set when they unsealed these letters they thought the public would never see and the way they blame the child as being too sensual or something was one of the scariest parts of the documentary.
When people defend these types of people, I always asks, “Have they done this too?”

I will never understand people saying "I've known this person my whole life and never saw this type of behavior." When someone is convicted of a crime against a child your words of support only bring out your true colors. I believe most don't deserve an ounce of forgiveness and the few that do are actively showing remorse/helping create a better environment by exposing their ways on how they did it. Child actors need to be supervised all the time on set, no reason to have a one on one lesson behind closed doors without a parent with them.

Will Friedle playing batman who is a character that believes in Justice for the young and the old supporting a child molester is crazy to me.
He wrote his letter before learning the whole truth. He spoke about it on his boy meets world rewatch podcast and feels tremendous remorse. I wouldn’t be surprised if that were also the case for others named in this video and others like it. Reactionary content drives traffic and traffic makes people money. If you’re curious about it, the podcast episode I’m referring to is one of the more recent ones and the guest on the episode is a therapist who walks the bmw cast through the events that happened. It’s pretty eye opening.

I'm sad about that, too. These people were part of my childhood. And, now to think that they wrote a letter like this??? It hurt in ways I didn't think it would. It felt like, if this had happened to one of us, they would have let it slide, despite being in shows and movies for kids.
My heart broke when I heard Will Friedle. It is understandable to feel like you know someone, especially if they were kind to you when others were not. But please know predators show their face to those they believe will not tell and who won’t fight back successfully. Please do not react like Ashton and Mila Kunis did.

I believe all these actors worked with the guy before and never had any issues with him. He is a for real predator who took his time to find the right prey. If Drakes father were still in the picture this probably would have never happened. His mom was the on who didn't want to be bothered and let him stay with the guy. It is my opinion someone set him up to take the fall like what they try to do with both the Coreys. Thomas DeSanto, James Marsden, and Bryan Singer were X-Men crew friends of Brian Peck. It makes sense why Peck make cameo appearances in X-Men and X-Men 2 movies. Killam not only hasn’t apologized for his letter of support but he also actually dated Amanda Bynes during his time on the Amanda show. She was only about 15 at the time but he was already almost 20 years old. It’s sickening. It seems they were conditioning the girls on Nickelodeon to think it’s ok to date older men as they grew up no matter the age difference. I also recently found out Elizabeth Gillies from Victorious is married to someone 20 years older.

They've just wrapped up on filming Sonic Movie 3, so if they ever did recast the character and do some reshooting right now with a new VA to replace him, would probably delay the film a bit longer.

In their defense, they were probably misled into writing the letters but they should have apologized when they found the truth out not after the documentary comes out over a decade later. Kimmy Robertson, one of the main female cast of the series Twin Peaks, wrote one of the most offensive supports for Brian Peck and against Bell.
There was at least one other woman who was in production that wrote a letter as well (Beth Correll iirc, the wife of Rich Correll who also wrote a letter).
