- This video is from the ceremony where the Norwegian metal band TNT was inducted into The "Rockheim Hall of Fame", in Trondheim, Norway, in 2019.
"Rockheim" is Norway's national museum of modern music, from 1950 and onwards.
As their tribute, Enslaved played this cover version of the song "Knights of The Thunder", originally recorded by TNT, and released on their second LP "Knights of The New Thunder" in 1984. One of Norway's finest metal albums, by the way.
This show was broadcasted on Norwegian national TV, NRK TV, in December 2019.
Love seeing all these heavier bands doing songs off this album as of late. Love seeing the guys feeling appreciated.
Fantastic version of a great tune! I love the way the TNT guys looks so proud and happy to watch Enslaved cover their song! 😊
This was amazing to watch, want it on Spotify!
Enslaved covering tnt.
Man i love metal. Much respect.
Thanks for this upload. TnT was my favorite in the 80s and 90s; Enslaved is my favorite from the 90s onward.
This guys are awesome! 🖤
Spectacular!!🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Fuck! I love this song🖤🖤🖤
Hail enslaved 🤘
Great stuff! Do you know who is playing drums here please? I guess this is after Cato Bekkevold left Enslaved but maybe before Iver Sandoy joined?
I'm not too familiar with Enslaved's personell in the last years. But I believe this performance was filmed in September or October 2019. Check out the original TNT version of this song as well, it's also great.
It is not the drummer who took over after Bekkevold. I think this is Kjetil Greve. Plays drums for the band Audrey Horne. Audrey horne i s a very good concert experience!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The video quality was fine before uploading... :/ This looks pretty bad. Oh well, at least the music kills :)
Thank you for uploading/sharing!
