Could have won way earlier. At 17:00, you should have built the city instead of devs. You would have been on 8 with a RB in hand. Just need to produce 1 more road to take road next turn. You also could have offered wood for brick and potentially won that turn. However, since you decided to go for the settle spot a few turns later, you threatened road without actually taking it, which caused blue to connect and potentially prolong the game. Good win though!
your two opening picks are good (in spite of low number diversity), but those roads are debatable.. perhaps you could get the 3:1 on the 3 wheat, but the sheep port is useless, so consider pointing up with that road, if you decide to take the 3:1 port on the 11 sheep.. alternatively, that road could point to the 4-11 to give to give you all resources. As your sheep makes OWS hard, and the split settlements make Road hard, you could at least secure all five resources to keep options open.. Great play, although the dice were in your favor this time!!! a typical 6-9 game, instead of 5-8, that helped! :) but smart play at the end
Duster is a very old and bad airplane, they called him that because he was lowest ranked in rating but still won. Although everyone else was “technically” better
I definitely would have gone 6-9-3 8-4-3, personally, but your setup clearly worked wonders here with the quick cities as well as the good tracking and extortion to keep the devs running. I was skeptical of relying on the 11 sheep for OWS. Good move sneaking road for the win. Luck was on your side there between the dice and the two roadbuilders. I would have dropped the first one earlier to open up quick settles on the sheep port and 3 wheat and missed that opportunity. I like to drop rb preemptively if I'm not using another dev, cause I don't know if I'll need to knight/mono/YOP instead later and thus not have an opportunity to use the rb. Provided I'm not in danger of getting plowed, of course.

Uh oh...what does "duster" mean? It sounds unkind the way you responded. Ty for the content.

@kingbobb8389 ha! I may have guessed that after a lifetime. Ty very much for the explanation.
Crying their eyes out at the distribution, even mentioning the 11s that only came up twice. Such toxicity.
