Wow this is so beautiful ❤ just gorgeous with the gold leaf. The fish came out really amazing also. I can imagine this will sell out quickly at a market. Thank you Steve
I just wanted to say how much I love your fish planter bowl! The fish are so adorable. The gold leaf was an interesting choice for the bowl, but to me, it makes the fish look like they're swimming in gold! 😂 I think it would be really cool to see you do this again with your blue leaf idea for the background. Either way, it's super cute, and I love the creativity you've put into it! Just a suggestion, you said that you may be making these into planter bowls. Have you tried the Little Windows Hole makers to make drainage holes??? I think that would be a great idea! Keep up the amazing work! 💙🐟
Love it Steve! I don't think I can replicate that, especially with the upside down fish ( which are beautiful) but just went on Amazon to buy the bowl and we will see. Love your ideas. Thank You
Oh, how *GORGEOUS*, Steve! I've wanted to get that bowl mold for a long time. I LOVE this as a fish bowl! 💕 The antiqued effect is *stunning!* Brilliant idea to curve the shapes in a matching mold. 👍😊 P.S. You know that sort of knobby-branched thing that looks like a plant, next to the fern-looking plant? That's supposed to be red coral. But, it makes a great plant, too! 😁❤ Oh, a blue-leafing background would look glorious!
Hi Steve! I’m retired from teaching now and I want to explore my wedding business. Is there a way to make long resin rods I can shine a battery light through to take the place of traditional candles? I’m thinking about items I can make for my stock decor.
Steve, This is beautiful! I bed Mica flakes or powder would survive the bowl flipping inside out a little better.... Maybe try that with the Flake only on the bottom and the mica on the sides???? I want to try this so badly now. Lol ... Need to find my supplies (still not unpacked)
What if you painted on some resin, just a very thin coat. When it’s not at all sticky but still flexible, turn it right side out and fill it the rest of the way.
That looks really cool! I'm curious, what makes you choose chameleon flakes versus powder? When you burnish them, they look the same to me. (Maybe it's because it's video.)
Wow!! I absolutely love this and think it's my favorite of all the ones I have seen. I would love to make one but unfortunately I do not have the patience you have. Are you going to keep it, gift it or sell it? I know you could get a good price for this. I hope 2025 will be a wonderful year for you.
I'm loving this .... Sounds like you have found some Joy again and had some fun with this one 🫶🥰🤗
Oh, wow! Such a neat idea and it worked out great! Good job, Steve!❤❤❤
Just absolutely love that bowl! It turned out so beautifully!!!❤😮
Wow! That's so beautiful Steve! Would really love to see the blue version too! Or a pearl white one with red hearts around it for valentines day! ❤
Totally second the blue background for the fiiish. You could also try a small layer of gold at the bottom, to represent sand.
Me 2, the blue sounds awesome, I also wouldn't mind a green version, but these are pretty awesome! The fish are so cute!
OMG this is awesome...its looking gorgeous..thanks for sharing.. the fishes looks adorable...looking forward to seeing the blue version 😊
To keep your tape end able to be found easily, fold a corner over on it :)

WAY COOL!

Beautiful
I would have given the gold leaf a coat of UV resin to set it in before turning it the right way around.
I adore this bowl 😊

That is the cutest thing ever Steve ❤❤❤❤
Very pretty
Love this one! Thanks for all you do! Also, I am glad I am not the only messy one! Except I am messier than you. I just can't help it sometimes!! 😅

Cool.
first comment ... I just got some Lets Resin uv and it's amazing ...can't wait to get some of their molds.
A cotton bud wet with alcohol also easily removes errant dry color
❤❤❤
💜💜💜💜
do the blue one :D !
Cute as 😊

Great idea! And thank you for being a teacher! I think candle holders would be good idea too. They sell molds for those. Good luck to you!!

What if you painted on some resin, just a very thin coat. When it’s not at all sticky but still flexible, turn it right side out and fill it the rest of the way.
Fold over a small end of the tape - it’ll always be easy to find the end.
Hey Steve how about trying white glue to protect the area you don’t want the gold on?
Spray it gold after bowl is definitely molded?
What would you use this jaw dropping gorgeous bowl for? 🐠🐠🐟🐟
That looks really cool! I'm curious, what makes you choose chameleon flakes versus powder? When you burnish them, they look the same to me. (Maybe it's because it's video.)
If you use the plastic tabs from bread bags and place them on the end of your tape, you will not lose the end of the tape.
Wow!! I absolutely love this and think it's my favorite of all the ones I have seen. I would love to make one but unfortunately I do not have the patience you have. Are you going to keep it, gift it or sell it? I know you could get a good price for this. I hope 2025 will be a wonderful year for you.
It's hard to hear with the music in the background. 😕
You made green coral... those first 'plant's weren't plants
What if you sealed it first with a spray acrylic? Or even leaf sealer?
Great idea, I honestly didn’t think of that. I will definitely try that on a blue version 😀
Great job thanks for sharing.
❤❤❤
