➡️ Margot Cotten is the only french girl who can actually play americana without blushing. Playing drums, guitars and keys, she is a multi-talented singer songwriter. Make sure to watch her new videos on Sundays. She plays covers by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Elton John, Cat Stevens, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, Neil Young etc as well as her own material.

Absolutely love it
Just as beautiful as the
❤️ the girl singing it❤️
Can't wait to see you in a movie, like a 70s 80s style. Then we will get to see more of your silliness and that magical smile. ☺
Magical, gives me goosebumps listening to your amazing voice, so unbelievably beautiful, thank you Margot, love you 🙏❤❤❤🌟🔥❤
Changing the original setting to acoustic is a subtle idea. The first version, with its electric piano and roots guitar, makes Brass Buttons sound like many other country songs. Your take on it accents the sensitive story behind the lyrics by allowing all the poetic lyrics to flow slow and clear. The phrasing could only come from another artist who understands GP's music personality and chequered background. You look relaxed and that contributes major empathy, as does the lighting. And that garden! This is not deserty California. It's something else...moh
Somewhere beyond this world on some astral plane Gram is hearing this- and smiling.
Margot shares a musical genius with the ones she covers, demonstrated as well by her original creations! Please don’t stop❤👏👍
Beautiful choice and performance. From California to France and back to the US you brought a song to my ears and heart I'd somehow missed. Thank you.
Beautiful cover with tasty fingerpicking. Thanks as always!
Fantastic rendition of this beautiful song. Very much awaited.
Привет Марго! Лайк как всегда перед просмотром!❤
Dreamy song, I love the way Margot sings it. Keep it up Margot! 💟
Simply superb! Gram would be so proud of your rendition. Thank you Margot.
Margot, your videos are works of art and your performances are perfect.
The Grievous Angel would have love this. I know I do.
Wonderful, absoluty wonderful
and as she walks away from this fine performance she digs into her pocket and leaves behind a guitar pick, a few brass buttons, and the key from the Joshua Tree Inn room #8

Gram Parsons.... 50 years.... 19-9-2023
In my hour of darkness 😢
Just wonderful, your interpretation of this GP song gives me the same feeling as listening to the original.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Margot! You only get better and better! What a perfect song for sensitive romantic reflections on a warm summer evening in Paris. (I presume. LOL.)
Your neighbours are very lucky that they get to hear your beautiful music floating over the fence on a regular basis. Or, is your property so large you don't have close neighbours? You seem to have a a fully tricked-out music recording studio and a tonne of musical instruments so I presume there is some space to live upstairs. It seems like a lovely place to live and work from what you show in your videos, Margot. Keep up the great work. I wish you every success. - - - From a fan in Aotearoa/New Zealand. (Home of the amazing All Blacks.)
I agree 100%, Barry! Yes, her neighbors are blessed and yes, their basement Studio is incredible. Having great recording and mixing gear is a huge plus, but that Margot digs out some obscure pieces is the most fun for me. Her precision is astonishing, like the Traveling Wilbury’s piece We are going to the End of the Line, where she sings each person’s part (Geo. Harrison, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne) with precision, then edits to perfection and same time! This lady is a superb Professional of the highest caliber, IMHO. She should be known and famous the world over! Dave in Arizona
@@daveh5635 I totally agree, Dave! Also, she seems to play so many instruments very well. I truly respect that as someone who struggles to play the guitar quite badly. When she is drumming she often looks to be truly enjoying her playing. Margot is an artist who can play brilliantly live. I would go to see her concert if she were performing nearby. I wouldn't mind if she had a band or just played solo acoustic guitar like Bob Dylan in his early days.
@@barrykwhoop5556 Margot remarked she gets her anger out on the drums. She is slightly frustrated that she has slim arms when playing the drums, which I guess makes her feel less good at them. But that is her perception; not reality! In their family band, The Grooving Family Band, she is hidden in the back, playing drums very well. But her real persona developed when she started editing! Margot is a perfectionist: I see it as a strength but many don’t like the word. It brings the highest qualities to every piece she chooses!
@@daveh5635 Thank you for the information, Dave. As a fellow perfectionist, I can only agree that it is a good thing when it is applied to achieving the best quality of work. I do understand that it sometimes drives 'non-perfectionists' crazy but look at Paul and the Beatles ... what great music was achieved through Paul's pushing and insistence on getting it perfect?
I do have neighbours and some tend to hate it when the music is loud in the garden
Each performance of yours I hear, I am increasingly amazed at your talent. Thank you for sharing.
BONJOUR MARGOI I MISS YOUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🐯🙏🔥🔥💞💞🌺🌺🍑🍑🍯🍯🔥🔥💥💥🔥🔥💋💋💋💋💋💋

Nice cover of this very beautiful song❤!
Marvelous!! I know you get a lot of cover requests/suggestions but Gram's song Hickory Wind is classique! You would sound great doing that song.
I did hickory wind. I love Gram. You can find the video somewhere on my channel.
Encore une très belle reprise. Cette fois, du regretté Gram Parsons, ami de Keith, résident de Nellcote et créateur de Wild Horses. Merci Margot !
Gram Parsons wrote this about his mother after she chose to end her life. thanks for treating it with respect.
Einfach nur schön !!

Hello beautiful
Her version is better than Parson's and he wrote it. What was the vintage of the wine on the table ??
Cabernet Franc / Syrah but I don't remember the vintage. Might be 2021
