Due to rebuilding we basically have no depth in our offensive line and injuries took our starters out. I was actually shocked we blocked as well as we did. Lots of talent on the way now though to plug these holes on the line.

In defense of that LG on the "unathletic" fall, it looks to me like that D-lineman landed a jab right to the guard's larynx. As a retired Soldier I can testify that will fold you up faster than a broken nose.
I will agree that 54 truly sucked a lot last year but on the play were you ripped Cooper for getting slung to the ground watch it again and pay attention to the right guard. He blast cooper in the back and assists the NG to remove the center from the play. Also the left guard just flat out gets beat. But that’s another story. And last yes the OL better improve or Nico will be running for his life all year.
Algorithm Vol fan, nice shirt, Cooper Mays is fine more often than not, him being on his face in that one snap was a product fo the Guard hiting him as he came to "help". 54 Mincy is now at Kentucky and we will get to watch our DEs obliterate him this fall. I expect MUCH better OL play in general as well.
Sampson a great back but need to focus on pass pro all spring and summer and 54 is gone and we got a 5star lsu oline to replace him. For the record we had 3 starting oline out thus game agaisnt a great d. When 63 center cooper mayes the cap of oline got pulled to ground very usual for coop. He is a grrat player just got beat one play. It happens. 54 mincey gator tansfer good ridence to kentucky. Have fun wildcats with him
Nico, Milton, Drake, baby Tua, Bryce, Williams, Bo, etc. All are the next big thing. None have actually won anything of importance outside the "qb award". He'll wash out like other overhyped qbs.
