I've been struggling with cigarette addiction most of my life. I will tell anyone, as a person who has successfully used vaping to quit smoking, when I vape I feel a hell of a lot healthier than when I smoke. I can actually breathe. Vaping has been proven 95% safer than smoking over the short term. Cigarettes have more than 4000 toxic chemicals that are both addictive and dangerous. Vape juice or "e liquid" only has 3-4 ingredients most of which you consume everyday in most foods..such as PG, VG, and flavoring as well as the option of nicotine. Cigarettes are combustible which means you have to use a flame to light it and cause smoke. There is absolutely no combustion whatsoever in a vape. The only reason the government wants to ban vaping, is because big tobacco was losing money from people switching to the vape. If the government really gave a shit about your health, they wouldn't promote alcohol and cigarettes. People that the lying liberal media did their stories on, they were not even vaping legal nicotine e liquid, they were buying illegal thc cartridges off the streets made by criminals. Essentially these people were vaping laced drugs. People need to do research. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can speak on my own health and the way I feel.

Keep in mind vapes contain nicotine and according to the cdc "Most e-cigarettes contain nicotine. Nicotine is highly addictive and can harm adolescent brain development, which continues into the early to mid-20s." And "E-cigarettes can contain other harmful substances besides nicotine." These chemicals include: Acrolein which is the stuff used in weed killer, Diacetyl which is most likely to cause damage to small passageways to your lungs, Cadmium a metal that can cause breathing issues (asthma in some cases) and Benzene which is found in car exhaust. This doesnt mean that just because the air in the cigarette causes the color of the cotton balls to change that the vapes or e-cigarettes are therefore better. They are equally worse. @@glomp7085 Nicotine patches are a viable option, a good option to be sure. But there are unique benefits to vaping that patches do not provide. One being that rather than throwing a patch on and calling it a day, which has been known to make people ill, the nicotine consumption can be controlled on a real-time basis. You decide when you get the nicotine and exactly how much of it you get. The other one being that vaping mimics the physical action of smoking a cigarette, and I don’t know if you have been addicted to cigarettes before, but that is 70% of the equation. Not as much of a problem for those who dip or snuff. Being that you can step down in nicotine levels just as you can with patches, it is just as if not a more viable option for kicking nicotine, and if said person does fail in quitting nicotine and continues to vape, they are still better off than if they had just kept smoking cigarettes.

To what extent it can affect the body compared to cigarettes I'm not yet sure of. But it is also important to note that many of the studies done in regards to vaping include cannabis vapes, which should be a totally separate thing because for the most part, they are an unregulated black market drug. The containers are mostly filled by black market dealers and repackaged to appear as dispensary quality. Sorry for being antagonistic in my original comment. The big RDAs and subohms are for home use only :3 or in my case, I take it with me and will vape in the car, but it stays in the car, if I can't make it 3-4 hours without a hit then there is something wrong.
