    Oh boy, what fun !! Yes, the scarf does look black on my laptop, but as it moved around, and you spoke about the blackberry, I could totally see that. Really beautiful colour, what ever you call it. Gosh, I hope your new yarn comes close enough to the same, that your scarf will be happy. As you say... no matter if it isn't exactly the same, because it will be beautiful anyway. Must go see part 2 ! xoxo

    Could I use the same method on silk ribbon? Brilliant videos btw, laughing as much as I am learning!

      Yes, all acid dye will definitely work on silk ribbon - as long it is actual silk and not "silky" synthetic.

    You should invest in small digital scale.
    You can get highly accurate, up to 0.01g accuracy that weigh up to 500g (about 1lb).
    When you weigh everything this way, rather than measuring out by volume, you can become much more consistent, even with very small batches.
