is anyone looking for a new wireless headset, and does the ROG Strix Go 2.4 fit the bill?
I want a heaset similar to valve index audio - wireless and not sitting on ears.
Nope. I don't play multiplayer games.
I had one :) With microhpone quality helped me firmware update and Im Ok with this headset :) Better than HyperX than I had before.
Got one because of your review.
It's my daily driver now for work too.
Also they managed to relocate the USB dongle to the lid pocket which actually has extra space.
So i don't need to take out the foam.
i love the detail mic test
Well gonna buy one and see if it's good. Really getting it for the versatility and to hopefully swap. Out the mic for a better one

Hey, great video. Do you know the exact measurements of the ear holes? I'm worried that these won't fit properly over my ears, and due to covid I can't test them anywhere. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

How do you save presets from armoury to the headset??
I customize preset for music, I heard it on my laptop, its sounds great. Then I connect it to my phone, it sounds terrible, like using the default setting. Your answer would be very very helpful, thank you
where do i configure the auto-shutoff timer setting??

This headset is good if you want to answer a call if you are at a distance from your computer, I have even compared Bluetooth 5.2 to this headset, with Bluetooth 5.2 if you are listening to music you can hear it if you are far from your computer but if you get a call if you are at a far distance from your device the caller can hear your voice faintly but with the ROG Strix GO 2.4 the caller can hear you even if you are far from your computer, but if you are too far from your computer this headphone will lose connection and you can hear the beeps of losing connection, I have gone through 3 of these ROG Strix GO 2.4 Headphones, if you have this don't extend the sides to the max, just extend it 3 clicks on each side max or it will break where the extender metal meets the plastic the extender goes into, you will have to bind the plastic with something like electrical tape, you will need to put a thick bind or it will crack again, I didn't put the tape around the silver plastic, even that came apart, i use these Headphones 5 days a week because I take calls so I use it often but I don't misuse it like I don't sit on it or put unnecessary weight or pressure on it, still it will come apart if you don't bind it, now there is a different issue, after I charge it and put it on, the beeps that indicate the battery is low will beep, it's really annoying, also after like say maybe about 5 to 10 mins of not receiving calls it will disconnect with my computer and i will not be able to hear the caller upon-which you will have to turn the Headphones off and back on, this has happened after 2 years use, now i am facing this issue and considering to change to different Headphones, do you have any suggestions?

@@audi_i its great ! Just be careful and follow detailed instructions when updating firmware. But not to worry if u fail the first time u can still fix it
@@darkrobroy14 how's the build quality has there been any damage? Just a bit worried about its longevity since I've heard that it could easily break
@@audi_i mine is fine ... But i do take extra care of my shit... I dont over stretch and i am careful with taking em on and off and i have ear cup protectors as well

hi there did you got issues with the headset, they disconnect and reconnect random?
For me its not rlreally random, what i could think off is that its using the 2.4ghz signal, Where im going around there's gonna be a 2.4ghz wifi signal so when it detects that the 2.4 channels begin use for wifi it will disconnect and reconnect to another 2.4 channel...
Have this for a week now. I'm wondering if I can use my ROG phone 2's 30 watt quick charge adapter to charge this headset. Would it be safe or should I stick with charging it on my desktop?
i wouldnt recommend charging it with a fast charger, i think using ur desktop for charging it is better, btw how are the headsets i was planing to buy it

@@thechoosenone246 Hey umm turns out it is a good headset for gaming but music on it is not that good, if u really want a wireless headset for gaming and casual music or watching movies i wud recommend buying the Hyperx Cloud 2 wireless

USB Dongle hidden underneath the foam??? Must be kidding...the foam were glued down how is it hidden???
they corrected it on my unit. They placed the dongle with the mic and cables.
Very disappointed with this headset. Not compatible with call function for most smartphones and although the ear covers are very soft, they are very very fragile. After a couple years of use, they are disintegrating. Also, the battery life has gone down and I can't replace it

These look awful to be honest. Regardless of how it sounds, the functionality has a lot of my pet peeves in a headset.
What don't you like about them? Personally I think they look great!
@@KitGuruTech i strongly dislike the volume wheel press in feature. I have found that those tend to break sooner later. Also the multifunction button next to that feels not very well thought out. This in addition to the finger print magnetism. But to be fair, I'll not sure that can be helped. I also noticed the detachable mic twisting around when you tried to adjust it. Im not trying to be negative here, i just felt like they might have let this one out of the "oven" a bit too soon.
