Same! They are just great people that love video games. I watch these guys because they remind me of me and my friends. I am a bit younger than them at 42 years old, but I have the same passion and love of video games.
I love these guys. They talk about all the games I love. I also had megamen x4 and resident evil on ps1... thise days were the best. I'd always order pizza hut every month just for the demos they gave out haha. Great times. Reggie was a treat. MJR is cool haven't watched his show in a while. Anyways game on!!
I think MJR lost a lot of his fandom when he blatantly tried to get fans to pay for his RV USA road trip (yes it's true, I wish it wasn't) and it just felt kind of gross. I can't imagine HCG (or RR for that matter) ever stooping that low.
@@zach5381 When your fandom goes to your head. I can see that it would be hard at times to keep yourself grounded.
@@Adamchevy Yeah. He seems like a good guy in a way but yeah. HCG definitely gets my respect for always being above that stuff and purely into just making a channel for the love of gaming.

When Reggie said FF8 instead of 7 I was so happy! Also him saying PS1, that era is the best in my opinion. This was an awesome episode. I would love to see a longer episode of this!

It doesn't even have to be in person , I'd take video chat of HCG with anyone! He's had guests in the past and it might be a while for another guest besides his good friends he grew up with. Yeah I’m 44 . I’m a huge fan of Johnny , MJR, Reggie and James Rolfe (AVGN ) all in thier 40’s (metal Jesus might be 50 now lol) but man it’s refreshing to listen to these guys ….oh gotta add Rob Man as well.

Well, I bought Drainus on Sunday right after watching this video. I haven't been able to stop playing it since. For $15 its SUCH a steal! Clocked in around 10 hours to 100% complete everything, but I was riveted to the game for all 10 of those hours. Team Ladybug is killing it!
I really respect Reggie for this "breaking the seal" series. That shows that it is all about the games, and not the value. Getting the opportunity to have these old games all to yourself is a real treat!

It's still mind-blowing to talk about all the gems on the psone, especially rpgs. Final Fantasy, Suikoden, Breath of Fire, Xenogears, Grandia, Legend of Dragoon, Valkyrie Profile... what an era
I love this channel btw, I try to catch all your content. But then I seen Reggie… clicked immediately. I would be you guys little brother, it’s a pleasure listening to the stories. Putting things in the right context, because I remember these times but I was still young. Xbox/ PS2/ GameCube was my time where I was obsessed, and can give this knowledge to the great people younger than me. Great video bro!

Ahhhh yes the energy from the collection! Great way to put it. I feel such happiness when I get home a trip and come downstairs and see those shelves. Similar feeling when you walk into a store with physical games. I think video will suffer from that loss when they go all digital
So cool to see you guys together! I didn't start collecting until my early 30's the first console I had real nostalgia for was the Mega Drive. I'm currently playing YS 7 on the PSP and loving it. Great game and also the PSP is a great handheld that I'm really enjoying collecting for at the moment. 👍
