Same! They are just great people that love video games. I watch these guys because they remind me of me and my friends. I am a bit younger than them at 42 years old, but I have the same passion and love of video games.
I love these guys. They talk about all the games I love. I also had megamen x4 and resident evil on ps1... thise days were the best. I'd always order pizza hut every month just for the demos they gave out haha. Great times. Reggie was a treat. MJR is cool haven't watched his show in a while. Anyways game on!!
I think MJR lost a lot of his fandom when he blatantly tried to get fans to pay for his RV USA road trip (yes it's true, I wish it wasn't) and it just felt kind of gross. I can't imagine HCG (or RR for that matter) ever stooping that low.

I really respect Reggie for this "breaking the seal" series. That shows that it is all about the games, and not the value. Getting the opportunity to have these old games all to yourself is a real treat!
Reggie kills it! Between you, Reggie, and Metal Jesus i’ve picked up so many awesome games. It’s interesting how collecting really is a journey for all of us.
These two could do a 10 episode series of videos and everyone would tune in. So many cool topics they could discuss. Dreamcast would be an awesome one.
It doesn't even have to be in person , I'd take video chat of HCG with anyone! He's had guests in the past and it might be a while for another guest besides his good friends he grew up with. Well see, I like that Johnny keeps lowkey he's a family man and I'll take this treat and savor it. RR and HCG... take me back!!!!! 😊
One thing that got touched on I would to expand upon. The jump from from 16 to 32 bit ('92-'95) was MASSIVE and felt like it took forever to really get going. We got a taste of the "next generation" with Doom, but so much of the software on PC, 3DO, CD-I, et al. never really seemed to be good enough to fulfill our longing. But once Virtua Fighter, Tekken, Resident Evil, Panzer Dragoon, Grandia & more finally hit, they showed the power that was possible. That was a unique moment to be a gamer.
When Reggie said FF8 instead of 7 I was so happy! Also him saying PS1, that era is the best in my opinion. This was an awesome episode. I would love to see a longer episode of this!
Someday John and Reggie will be guests on my show! That is one of my goals. Love seeing you guys kick back and share some positive energy around my favorite hobby. Loved it.

Well, I bought Drainus on Sunday right after watching this video. I haven't been able to stop playing it since. For $15 its SUCH a steal! Clocked in around 10 hours to 100% complete everything, but I was riveted to the game for all 10 of those hours. Team Ladybug is killing it!
This is the most wholesome episode of anything I have watched on youtube lately. Reggie and Johnny are incredibly positive and caring people who spread joy through the passion for gaming we all share as viewers.
Yeah I’m 44 . I’m a huge fan of Johnny , MJR, Reggie and James Rolfe (AVGN ) all in thier 40’s (metal Jesus might be 50 now lol) but man it’s refreshing to listen to these guys ….oh gotta add Rob Man as well. This is excellent stuff. Been a fan for a long time and this was a very nice surprise!

Ahhhh yes the energy from the collection! Great way to put it. I feel such happiness when I get home a trip and come downstairs and see those shelves. Similar feeling when you walk into a store with physical games. I think video will suffer from that loss when they go all digital
How cool. I was allways a gamer. My 1st console was the mega drive i was like 8 in 94 when i got it, i still have it. I did sell some games here and there but i allways tried to keep the games i like the most. My GamesRoom is my paradise. Love it.

So cool to see you guys together! I didn't start collecting until my early 30's the first console I had real nostalgia for was the Mega Drive. I'm currently playing YS 7 on the PSP and loving it. Great game and also the PSP is a great handheld that I'm really enjoying collecting for at the moment. 👍

When i was in the process of buying my house, I came across this picture on facebook with all the consoles set up and i was like i want my man cave to be like that!
