He really mellowed out with age. Although I think that he sometimes was a bit misunderstood/unfairly judged. If you treated him "normally" he always came across as a decent guy, he just hated people prying in his private life and dumb disrespecting behaviour and reacted accordingly. He also was a good sport about the fighting round the world parody they did on South Park.
He was a right terror growing up that's no joke. Moving to Australia sorted him a bit. He's a good bloke just doesn't have any time for dickheads or time wasters
The one British stereotype I grew up with that actually hasn’t been proven wrong as of me watching this video is that they send people off with some variation of “go on you little bastard”
The fact that he had that sitting in his back pocket leads me to believe that possibly Crowe had fooled around with this version on the Gladiator set between takes. Regardless on whether he did or just came up with it off the top, hilarious.
Why do you need to point it out...his normal accent is Australian ....it would've been piss funny to hear a horrible kiwi one for this actually....FUSH N CHUPS
@@joanne4758 I believe Felicity was mocking you because you highlighted something so obvious that, tbh, was very hard not to notice. I'm doing a Gilbert and Sullivan revision of '9 million bicycles in Beijing' song. I think it sounds better in that older musical style. I changed one line to, 'we are 3000 miles from Perth'. I thought it would resonate with Fingers Airport in North West Western Australia. The runway Clive built on Palm Sunday.
I used to not like Russel very much I thought he was arrogant and up his own arse. But I think he's not at all now he doesn't mind having a laugh at himself. Seems like a decent down to earth bloke to me.
He demanded he be allowed to read out some poetry he’d written at an awards show (because reasons), then went mental and physically attacked someone when they told him he couldn’t do it. Which got him a reputation as a pretentious overbearing knobhead.
Believe it or not, but years ago there were critics who had the stupidity to claim that Russell Crowe is a completely talentless actor !! It is clear who laughs last !!

It's a shame it's all pre-rehearsed. That's why I stopped watching years ago, the humour isn't spontaneous, they rehearse the crap out of it.🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
That's every panel show. A lot more people are aware of their artificial nature now than a few years ago, it's one of the primary reasons the old establishment media is sinking into irrelevancy. This is one of those cases ignorance is bliss, I suppose. Once you know, there's no going back.
@@leightonmilton5162 there’s a few in the comments section here which actually surprised me. I mean, who bothers to watch a comedy clip with and actor they don’t like? Such a pointless thing to do and yet here they are.
Wow. What’s with the pointless hate? If you don’t like someone or something, you can just ignore it, y’know? I just like how far Crowe went with. Good sport.

Adam: “I’m going to make fun of your greatest film.”
Russel: Oh *you* are, are you? Hold my beer!”
Russell gets so much respect for playing along lol, could have been a real pain in the ass 😆
I think Josh is the one who enjoyed this the most 😆 The way he keeps cracking up in the background is hilarious in itself.
Both of them!
From his donation to the Koala Chlamydia Ward to this silly bit, Crowe is just a funny and neat bloke.
Russel is brilliant 👏 👌
Mr Crowe seems to be channelling his inner Danny Dyer here. 😃
Never heard Crowe do Cockney .. would be GREAT if Russell played Alfie Solomon’s older brother in the Peaky Blinders movie 😳
I would like to see Tom Hardy as Maximus Sr's ghost with Alfie Solomon's habits and mannerisms.
Russell Crowe just seems like such a genuinely nice guy, as well as an amazing actor.:)
He was a right terror growing up that's no joke. Moving to Australia sorted him a bit. He's a good bloke just doesn't have any time for dickheads or time wasters
His accent was just as good as the one he used in Robin Hood.
Cockney Crowe, love it!
Russel good sport, much respect for not being cocky and full of ego
The one British stereotype I grew up with that actually hasn’t been proven wrong as of me watching this video is that they send people off with some variation of “go on you little bastard”
It’s Gladiator meets Monty Python - Gladiator 2: The Life of Maximus
The fact that he had that sitting in his back pocket leads me to believe that possibly Crowe had fooled around with this version on the Gladiator set between takes. Regardless on whether he did or just came up with it off the top, hilarious.
Crowe is freaking awesome!!!
Russel Crowe is a treasure.
Russell Crowe is the greatest actor in the world.
There was a script for Gladiator 2 and it was written by Nick Cave and its insane
Russell is fantastic!!
he slips right back into the role
Love This Russell is superb
Russell Crowe ....Respect
Channeling Ray Winstone. Nice one Russ ✌️
Wow, Russell Crowe is actually maybe a pretty good actor
He was also in Neighbours
You clearly haven't seen A Beautiful Mind.
@@westy4973 yes I have
😆
Maybe just a bit! I mean…have you seen Master and Commander?
Russell channeling Gary Oldman like a king
Alex's confidence in the intro is awesome
Russ should've done it with a broad Kiwi accent (as he is one), just to scare Adam
I think this movie has kind of a "sixth sense" plot twist where the son realizes he's dead too.
LOL! Thanks for choosing a cockney accent! 😂 You say F--- Off! So well! Good laugh
I feel I should point out Russell was born in New Zealand - I thought he sounded like Danny Dyer.

Making movies and making songs, and fighting round the world 🌎 😌
Crowe. Quality.
What's does Russell say at 2:31? After 'get in there son'
Have you tried Maximus Pizza? Get in there son. It's better than Nandos.

Alfie Solomons Maximus 🤣

Where was this level of acting in Les Mis?

Alfie Moon Crowe.
Crowe for Jack Sparrow!!!!

Crowe would play a steller Bill Sykes!!
I wish they would band English TV from RUclips
Can’t he get some robotic hands or something, anything is better than that
Crowe looks way better. He lost some weight
