What do you get when you throw together an A+ tenor (John Rulapaugh), and A+ lead--(Arthur Rice), an A+ baritone--(Mark Trammel), and an A+ voice in Gerald? Quartet magic!
the guy on the end can be my bodyguard anytime. Mark is having a hard time keeping a straight face. could see Kevin Williams or Ernie Hass doing this song
I love this song plus it describes a situation I'm in right now. There's a personal friend of mine who sings bass in a local (greater St. Louis area) southern gospel quartet whose tenor and baritone guys recently left the group. I've expressed interest in the baritone position, but that's all pending right now while they're trying to find another tenor.
I live between St. Louis and Springfield, MO and always wanted to sing tenor in a Southern Gospel quartet. The high notes are getting harder for me to reach these days. We evangelize full time and having to sing lead all the time has really hurt my range. I'd love to get it stretched back out again though and start hitting some high notes again.
+Jason Hood Jason, lemme give ya my E-mail address: fredmck at gmail dot com and I'll forward ya to the bass singer so that he can pass it on to the lead guy.
Gerald Wolf is downright hilarious!!!
I love this it made my day so much brighter. I have not felt like laughing in a long time. Thanks Brother Gerald Wolf.
Love the play on Vestal and Johnnyj's "Looking for a City".
One of the best sounds I've heard in a long time...all jokes aside!

Been liking Gerald since he was with the Cathedrals. Love this, but Danny Funderburk would have been a better tenor choice.
John looks like a tackle or a bodyguard
"Looking for a tenor. One that sings real high. Really loves this music. Wears a suit a tie, not blue jeans."
Good Old Gospel Music
Don't know where Gerald got it but "Whichita" is a character name of one of the "Cadillac Cowboys"... Comedy, alter egos of "The Statler Brothers.
i was there when they sang this talking about the crowd got into it at the end

Gerald Wolfe looks like Barney Fife.
Where is Danny Funderburk? It is not the same thing seeing Mark Trammell and Gerald Wolfe singing without him...
He sings for the trio "Freedom" currently
I got to meet him
Mark Trammell got so tickled at the words lol

That piano player is Stan Whitmire.
where did his nickname come from. and wondered how the gospel singers who wear bluejeans thought of it. and Bluejeans works for me
Lol!
Nice parody!
ment the words to the song here
PLEASE PLEASE can anyone put up the lyrics
Gerald doesn't have any sense! LOL!
Next time it should be Gus Gaches
I'm a tenor pick me
Haha 😅
This would be really cute if it was done with a fantastic tenor. Johnny, "Mr gloryland" or Brian Free would be perfect!
Or Vestal Goodman
Danette Chobanian, this tenor did a great job. He has a beautiful tenor voice.
Unfortunately Johnny passed away.
It was done by a “fantastic tenor.” John Rulapaugh has a beautiful, sweet voice. One of the best.
