Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing new content! I've slowed down myself. But I have a Spree I'm working on now. You make a really good point about what needs to be put into these barn/garage finds.
Glad to have you back, your attention to detail with maintenance jobs sets you apart. I went from an Elite 250 to a Helix this year and was so much more comfortable at highway-ish speeds. Put 7k miles on her and would have been more if I didn't have to replace the rear tire twice...
Like your channel and love your videos. I don't know if i told you before I have owned BMW's since 1977 and still own 10 of them. But now I have fallen in love with my scooters and like to watch you fix yours up. No matter how much I know about bikes I always learn something new watching you operate on yours. My scooters are the Helix and Morphous. Both are great scooters!
I just got back from spending 3 months in the Philippines and I have to rave about a scooter I bought for my brother-in-law, a 2022 Honda PCX 160. Me and my wife rode that thing everywhere and it had no problem running at 100kph with both of us on it all the while getting 160 mpg. Honda outdid their selves.
I like your rant. I think the price your asking for the scooter is correct. What you're going to get for under $1000 is junk. If you want something that won't give you too many problems and you can ride everyday you are going to have to pay a higher premium for it because someone had taken the time to care for it, maintain it, and replace worn out parts. I wouldn't sell any of my bikes under for $2000, that includes my CT70's.

Glad you're back.
Every garage needs a scooter or two or three...
