Note:
Compatible with most modern cars which are OBD2 compliant. Not compatible with old Japanese cars that are using J-OBD, most are pre 2010 Japanese parallel imports. Example of non-compatible cars will be Toyota Picnic, Wish AE10, HiAce (new HiAce Euro6 is OK), old Sienta (new Sienta OK), Nissan Sunny, Perodua, Proton Wira, Mitsubishi Lancer CS3, Mitsubishi Colt, Suzuki Swift ZC31/32 (new Suzuki Swift ZC13 OK). If you are not sure, contact us for advice.
Compatible with most hybrid cars except full electric or plug in hybrid which can run on pure electric for more than 5 minutes. Electric cars do not have engine, therefore there will be no car data. The meter will detect as engine shutdown so it will also initiate auto shutdown. Currently not compatible with Toyota CHR hybrid pending software update.
Meter reads from standard OBD2 bank. We cannot guarantee all data can be read and displayed. Data residing on non standard databank or not provided by manufacturer will not be displayed by the meter.
