- Does the BALL RIG work better or the APOLLO RIG? Today we tried to find out. It was raining very heavily in the morning so we only managed to leave shore close to noon time. Nevertheless, we landed some good fish and there was a clear winner in terms of what the most effective fishing rig was for the day.

It's a size 6 ball sinker. Not sure about the weight though, I would guess around 50g to 60g?
Ah thanks. Tried it 2 trips back. Run away train bullied my pe 0.8 rod and shredded my leader on the rocks. Haha. But it works. Thanks for sharing.
Ok I just found out by Googling that my size 6 ball sinker weighs 47g.

Hi! May i know what is the hook size and weights for the ball rig? And where can i get them in Singapore? Thanks so much!
The hooks I use are V-TRO Octopus hooks size 3/0. The ball weight is size 6 which I think weights around 48g?
