I’m ashamed to say I’ve never heard of John Mouse but he can tell an amazing story, I wasn’t going to watch this video but wow his story is very entertaining and honest. Thanks for the teaching Teach Dem.
John Mouse ....Authentic, Original and a man( or youth) at them time who had integrity and honour.... ( which he didn't even know he had inside of him)...Never sell himself out to gain the world of fame...John you're blessed .stay loyal to yourself
TEACH DEM, MUCH RESPECT FOR THIS, I NEVER KNEW WHAT THIS ARTIST LOOKS LIKE UNTIL TODAY. JOHN MOUSE A VERY HUMBLE SPIRIT, IN MY BOOK YOU ARE MOST CERTAINLY LEGENDARY.
John mouse you're another legend that in my view is still underrated and in all honesty I know of your work but I didn't know you as a entertainer but having watched this interview I'm totally convinced that you're a very patient man .
Another history lesson from teach the struggle was real but there was no fear way way less crime just can't forget about the 80s /90s, yes John Mouse you played your part in the danceall no matter how small it was, continue the journey Teach stay bless.
This shows how the business can be harsh the kind of Anansi traps that circles the inputs in the mix. In everyone there is music. John Mouse is no different. There is still that light for himself to shine again. Great video very informative and touching. Bless up Teach Dem for this excellence!
Good singer god gives all men talent and all singers have someone can sing a like without pirating sometimes they are coming out of the same tribe so never give up if you sound like someone the cake is big and everyone is entitled to their slice and John mouse i think you should continue with your career without fear because you still have the raw inborn talent

Teach, really appreciate these interviews, I love the music and it’s good to see these artist, sometimes its a first, like now, I didn’t know he did some of these songs...
John Mouse has one of the sweetest voices in reggae music. Pity the reducers did not see him as real human being and not a cash register. Everytime i play any of his tunes, it is a sure forward all now.

Another interesting but gut wrenching interview. The injustice in the music business because your God given talent makes you sound like another person who is higly regarded and how you had to suffer and pay for it... You could hear the hurt in his voice. I hope he gets a second break that propels him.. Its never too late.... Bless up Teach..Continue to highlight the authentic..raw talent and the hidden truths of these veterans..
Teach, as a foreigner listening to your interviews of the many JA musicians I am intrigued by the roads many of these entertainers have travelled. If it was not for music many of these JA men would not have made it. Thank god for your musical culture. Keep the fire burning. Music is powerful.

I honestly think it was quite common in those days. Tenor Saw, Nitty Gritty, King Kong, even Bunny General have that sound to this day.
