This is a Glacial Geek Warhammer 40,000 Boarding Action Battle Report!
The Imperial Navy is tasked with many, varying missions. From patrolling shipping lanes to direct action, their responsibilities are numerous. One of the most important jobs they have to transporting various military forces for the Imperium to the various battlefronts they are needed. Without this the Terran warmachine would grind to a halt.
During one such mission, while transporting a force of Battle Sisters to war, they encountered an enemy raiding fleet. The Orks had ambushed them while exiting the Warp at one of their waypoints. As the Greenskins boarded the ship, their passengers became their protectors. The Adepta Sororitas would never turn down a chance to purge the alien, especially on their own ship!

Line of sight blocking is within your own unit as well, so you can't shoot through friendly models.
Yeah I just read this 4x cause I wasn't understanding it but yeah u can't shoot through ur unit
This is perfect for RUclips content. Short and succinct. The reduced number of strategem is my favourite change.

The flash gits couldnt shoot that much their first Time, you cant shoot through your own units either, if you cant draw a direct line between your model and the target you cant shoot it

Wow, Celestial Sacresants seem very tough for their cost (14pt). their anointed halberds are ap -3 though.

I can see why they both have their supporters, but I honestly had far more fun with this than kt21
@@harrishoin7950 just seems a lot easier.
@@Black_Blow_Fly in the pros column: lot more unit variety, closer to regular 40k, feels like it could be a great learn the system game, split deployment and los rules add a wrinkle to the strategy.

The Repentia are specifically allowed either a squad of 4 or a squad of 9. It's in their specific ruleset in the PDF download

But seriously considered getting myself a copy of the rules.
Ended getting White Dwarf, Underworld's Witchhunters (for possibly Mordheim related shenanigans... [granted, two other players had apparently same idea, so have to see...]) and ordered Syll'Eske for Slaanesh...
Got finally officially employed, so money is starting to come in, but now my freetime is pretty much gone, so have to really ponder how much "new things" I can really get into. 🙈

Since when can you spend miracle dice after you roll poorly? That was something that was plugged long ago. I wish it still worked that way lol.
He was technically 'slow rolling' the dice so he had the option.
All rolls are done individually, they are meant to be rolled one at a time. We all roll them in handfuls to save time when it doesn't make a difference, but because you can't pop in a Miracle Die after the roll it does make sense to roll them individually to provide you with information to decide whether to use the die or not 🙂

Great video! Do you know if you can take a unit of 15 and split them into 3 squads of 5?
Maximum size you can take is 10 models which has to be split into two 5 model boarding squads

I feel like the cost of boys should be less in games like this
honestly with the way deployment staggering is, bringing too many models will end up leading to you bottlenecking yourself, not like the squads of 5 weren't getting it done too at that
