Leather can be washed without issue.
Avoid drawing near a heating vent and keep it at room temperature.
Put them on the shoe tree just before they are completely dry.

You may have a case of invisible athletes foot! It's not always visible. Everyone thinks you'd be able to tell by flaky skin and cracked painful toes. It is not always the case. I bought some very expensive leather boots and they started to smell. None of my other shoes had this issue. Found out I had a very small does of athletes foot! And these boots just didn't like my feet! Easily curable!

Fabulous! What brand of boots were those? I can't recognize the logo stamped on the heel. Thanks!

They are made in Mexico, but I was unable to discern that.

These are my boots and I can confirm without question that they are made by Fluevog. The style name is Locke, but they've been discontinued, hence why I had them repaired rather than replaced. I wore them for the first time today and I am thrilled with the result. Thank you KW Shoe Repair for giving my beloved boots a new lease on life!
