If you all remember, we did a collaboration boot with Nick’s Boots last spring. It was a design that we both worked on. Well, they were limited in number and ended up selling out. Well, there’s GOOD news!! With Fall just around the corner, we asked Nick’s if they’d be willing to make another limited run of the boots…AND make some additional options (speed hook option, additional leather options, etc). They said YES! With that being the case, these Trenton & Heath / Nick’s Boots collab Boots will go back on sale Sept. 24, so make sure to set the date on your calendars. Also, follow us on Instagram as well for more behind-the-scenes looks at these boots. Thanks y’all!
I loved this video, and as usual, your work is second to none. I do think the finished product might be the ugliest pair of boots I've ever seen on any of the cobbler channels, but they are still works of art!
Steve from Bedo's is the freaking BOSS. Awesome job on these boots, and glad you're friendly with Steve. He's the reason I got into watching shoe repair videos to begin with! Keep up the good work, guys!
I have researched Nicks boots, watched a bunch of videos, seen how they are made. They are built like a tank. I am not sure I could wear a pair enough to wear them out. Not saying they are not great, just beyond all my needs. Were I 20 years old, they would be worth it. You guys took a burned up, melted pair of boots and did a fine restoration as always. I appreciate your art, because to me what you do is a form of art.
Gentlemen you really outdid yourself with creating these boots. Absolutely love the look. It was a lot of hard work but what a work of art. Thank you for a great Saturday video. Have a great weekend everyone.
Can’t get enough of these videos. It’s just artwork what you all do. Still reminds me of my Grandpa’s shoe shop, although yours is much nicer. However, this one’s special. I worked in my younger days on the roads working with asphalt, oil, and all that stuff. I burned through a couple pair of boots in a summer, but they were not the quality of a Nick’s. Great job!!
I never would have known without nicks boots that a work boot is BY FAR my favorite tool ever. Nothing, maybe except a welding helmet, has saved me from getting hurt.
I own a pair of Nick's Boots and they are simply the best boots I've ever worn for work and leisure... I plan on ordering another pair... This transformation is beyond miraculous!
Dude I love that you are actually rebuilding the entire shoe! Have you watched that Japanese guy making bespoke shoes from scratch? He is literally the best person on earth at skiving
Nick's obviously trust you both to do the sort of quality work they'd be willing to stand behind (and with good reason). Those aren't the worst I've seen refurbed. That was an interesting way of welting and still using some stitch down as well. Looks strong as heck. It's also obvious why they don't do it this way. As near as I can see, there's no way to do that by machine.
I like the camo sole and you did a great job on the uppers I like how the size has changed I didn't know that was possible.... They do look brand new.....
Loved hearing you collaborated with Bedo's on the soles. Just like Justin Summersell, Bedo's is the RUclipsr that first got me hooked on shoe rebuilding videos and then I discovered you guys.
Whoa! You weren't kidding when you said make it brand new! But what a change. I was scratching my head wondering "What the heck..." then realizing it was a camo sole. Also, sharp little flea flicker there with Heath tossing the boot to Trent. A great video, gents. Many thanks and a happy, safe weekend! 🤙🥾
I am convinced that these boots are probably so ridiculously comfortable and tough that I wish they were my size. I bet they are dreamy to wear 🤔. I just admire this craftsmanship. Some comments are about the "style" of the look. To each their own. For me, the focus is that these premium boots went from disposable condition to an "ultra-premium". The repair and the upgrades should be a new line for Nick's Boots. These would be an expensive boot compared to their expensive boots where the expense makes sense.
Boy you guys were not kidding! You really took that thing apart! I’ve never seen you tear a part shoes so quickly on this channel. This was extremely fascinating!
IT WAS GREAT TO SEE YOU GO TO THIS LENGTH TO RE-ENERGIZE THESE KNICKS 😉 IVE BEEN WATCHING A JAPANESE RUclips COBBLER AND HE BUILDS SHOES FROM SCRATCH. I DIDN'T KNOW YOU BOYS HAD EQUAL SKILL SETS GUYS, GREAT JOB MY FRIENDS 👌🙂💪👍🥰🥰🥰🥰
I was watching a three hour interview with Shelby Foote, at his home in Memphis, on RUclips, when I suddenly thought of you guys. I love history, biography and nice boots! I wonder if the original harness boots were developed during the Civil War.
Awesome! I liked the way you guys rebuilt this boot, the touch of saving the perfectly good heel counter and converting to a welted style stitchdown was great. I think this way the boot can be converted to a Goodyear welt if they run out of vamp to keep stitching to, adding to the longevity without needing a rebuild again.
Awesome job! Loved the Norwegian welt and the double stitching if I said that correctly! The camo sole was very striking - never even seen such a thing before. Your craftsmanship is outstanding as usual / very physical work where strength snd precision count ! Thanks T&H!
"These boots are one of a kind" Couldn't have said it better myself! Great video guys, but I'd never wear those boots. That said, someone would and I'm happy they now have the opportunity to put these on!
It’s always a tremendous pleasure to watch true craftsmanship and individual’s who have locked into the things they love to do 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I have to include Steve (especially his coffee ☕️ time). The recraft with the combos made a pair of boots especially the Norwegian Double Stitch (showing the hidden talent). Great job 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Other than for the entertainment value, there is zero reason to revive these boots. But, that aside, I was totally entertained by the content. Thanks for posting.
I look North from my mobile home park and can see Bel Air. The guys that live there use you for their shoes and boots. I like watching you work. Sound effects are great. I thought you were old school till I heard flip flops. Onto my bucket list y’all.
Once again, a splendid work of real magicians. Their skill is truly incredible, but I'm pretty sure the work they did is much more expensive than the real value of these boots...
Awesome work but I am still on the fence about the look of these boots. I cannot decide if I love or hate them. So this is quite an accomplishment in itself. Thumbs up for you guys! 👏
Great project. I think it's the first time a nicks boot shaft gets cleaned in this type of video. Very cool touch with the Norwegian welt. Good job guys
I love Norwegian welts AKA (The Storm Welt ☔). My Italian hand made 3.2mm one piece leather upper, 9 iron Oak-bark tanned J Rendenbach leather midsole, full Calfskin lining, Alico Summit hiking boots are a Norwegian welt👍. I've been wearing those boots nearly every day for 20+ years still 100% waterproof without some crappy Gore-Tex liner that doesn't breathe nearly as good as advertised. Gore-tex okay for rain gear ( there are better options nowadays) but definitely doesn't belong in footwear. I've walked in shallow streams for over an hour straight (with no waterproof membrane needed), and as long as the water level doesn't go over the gusseted tongue (5.5 inches) and the boot is treated with Obenauf's boot oil you are good to go👍. Oh yeah I highly recommend Alico hiking boots they are 95% as good as a pair of Peter Limmer & Sons stock boots, and a little less expensive. *Warning* Alico's are a bear to break in, its not a pleasant experience, but so worth it afterwards👍.
As someone that has worked in asphalt since 2017 (not a super long time), if a pair of boots can make it through an asphalt season…they are tough. If they last multiple asphalt seasons, they are amazing. I’ve went through 3 pairs in one season.
I decided to be a cobbler too! Took an old pair of moccasins and some Crocs and set to work. I've learnt 3 things: 1) That glue is not to be toyed with. 2) Crocs are nice to wear in the kitchen when you're on your feet all day (chef) - don't try and use that sh*t when cobbling. 3). In this life, I don't think I am meant to be a cobbler. It is SO much harder than it looks! Love and Rescpect.
I currently superglued my boots, bottoms were ripping off, I’ll get a few more months out of them. No longer water proof, but when ur ready for a project to possibly fix the impossible. I can donate them for a video lol Redwing, tread is warn completely bald like tires, missing a chunk from on the front, no longer waterproof, dry rotted from concrete work/salt, & they just don’t have their original tight shape anymore, all the leather is like expanded
These are some Steve Austin, 6-Million Dollar man boots… you saw the damage and said we can rebuild them, make them better, faster, stronger…. And you did. Awesome job. Crazy amazing boots
Great work enjoyed the video you basically made a new pair of boots out of the old ones not taking away from what you did I personally prefer the old War Out look takes years to get character
Magnificent!!! Gotta say -- Even the leather(s) that were replaced appeared to be in fantastic condition considering the environment they were wore in. Asphalt temp on avg for application better than 325 degrees (even upwards to 385) not including primers, compounds, and release agents of varying natures. Those guys work long hrs and in all kinds of heat/humidity; quality boots are essential. Think you guys succeeded at making them new again for sure. A shoutout to Steve (Bedo's) for the sourcing effort!!!! Nice work guys; one really needs to appreciate the work here. Be Safe
I worked streets maintenance many years ago and hot asphalt would tear the less expensive boots to bits in short time. Nick's boots are made very well, it seems!
I enjoyed this deep level rebuild and the craftsmanship on display. The end result was not my personal cup of tea, but that does not make the process any less impressive! Great job guys!
Nice! Always interesting to see the process. Would love to have sent you a pair from back in the day when I was a hardwood floor finisher. About once a month we had to use a knife to cut the varnish off the boot.

Amazing work, excellent craftsmanship, hideous boot. Lol
Exactly what I wanted to say 😂
Thank God I'm not the only one who thought that
I was thinking the same thing. Personally I would have just bought a new pair. Lot of work for the ugliest boot on the planet.
I saw this comment before I finished the video and I thought how bad can it be. Then I saw the finished product....
Great work as usual, but I’d prefer the older look.
@Fermi Surface they do, I just didn’t want to put it like that 😂
Congratulations we have a great package for you
Yup, now they look like a different kind of shit...
A day on the job doing asphalt paving and they will look exactly the same.
We all do
Steve from Bedo's is the freaking BOSS. Awesome job on these boots, and glad you're friendly with Steve. He's the reason I got into watching shoe repair videos to begin with! Keep up the good work, guys!

It sure is art! Beautiful, just beautiful
Treat yourself to a pair, you'll be glad you did
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed.
I bought a pair last year, it’s an absolute beast
Awesome craftsmanship...you guys nailed it. Need a pair in 12 E.
Thanks guys for the shout out and nice transformation on the boots.
You're awesome
First time I haven’t liked something you’ve done … I’m sure plenty will 👍
Watching the whole process, particularly the Norwegian stitching, shows what true craftsmanship is.
This wasn't a repair; it was a restomod! Great job!
almost like a frame off on a car lol
Wow!!!!!! Absolutely great work. I dig the Norwegian stitch
Heath, your skills are clearly on display in this one. I'm convinced now there isn't anything you guys couldn't tackle! Great job as always.
Thanks so much.
Great to see you and your dad working together to produce such quality craftsmanship.
Gentlemen you really outdid yourself with creating these boots. Absolutely love the look. It was a lot of hard work but what a work of art. Thank you for a great Saturday video. Have a great weekend everyone.

There aren't enough thumbs up for the quality of work you guys do!
That’s no longer a Nick’s boot. It’s a Potter boot using some scrap leather from a Nicks boot! Great talent!
Thank you!
I never would have known without nicks boots that a work boot is BY FAR my favorite tool ever. Nothing, maybe except a welding helmet, has saved me from getting hurt.
I would like to see a shoe repair showdown between you guys and Dan from Tring Shoe Repairs
I've seen him! That work is impressive!
I'm a huge fan of both Bedos and Trenton and Heath. All are fabulous. Much love
This goes beyond restoration, you have made a brand new pair of boots. This customer will be amazed, and thankful. What a transformation!
I don't think there was a customer. I think it was just for the views.
Nick's obviously trust you both to do the sort of quality work they'd be willing to stand behind (and with good reason). Those aren't the worst I've seen refurbed. Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
OMG What can I say... This is just real art you gentlemen are doing. To be honest, the new look isn't my style, but how you did it is just amazing.
One of your best restorations and the camo was a great idea glad I thought of that LOL !!!
I am convinced that these boots are probably so ridiculously comfortable and tough that I wish they were my size. I bet they are dreamy to wear 🤔. I just admire this craftsmanship. Was I the only one that thought "Elton John!" when they revealed these boots?
As a non native English speaker I find your southern accent amazing 👍👍
Glad you were able to get Theseus his boots back!
I was watching a three hour interview with Shelby Foote, at his home in Memphis, on RUclips, when I suddenly thought of you guys. I love history, biography and nice boots! I wonder if the original harness boots were developed during the Civil War.
Fair play to Steve for helping you out I know he helped out Tring shoe repair.
Proudly made in Tennessee from Nick's sourced parts! I like how you embossed the Trenton and Heath logo on the boot too! From the Windy City!
Its beautiful for me. Also, i can imagine how comfortable these are to wear because of stacked leather you put. Great job!
Very satisfying undoing all of that dirty stitching!
They almost look like a high heel boot!🤣 Excellent work as always!
yep... the guys on the asphalting team are going to love that guy when he comes back to work wearing those... 🤣
Awesome! I liked the way you guys rebuilt this boot, the touch of saving the perfectly good heel counter and converting to a welted style stitchdown was great. It looks like y’all hit the ‘randomize’ button on the options of this boot
Really great work
"These boots are one of a kind" Couldn't have said it better myself! Great video guys, but I'd never wear those boots. That said, someone would and I'm happy they now have the opportunity to put these on!

I normally like the stuff you guys do, but....this....yeah...not my thing.
I’m ready for a series with Heath making a pair of shoes.
Love your videos from here the UK, love to see you guys repairing trainers ❤
I love that camo soul. Would love to see y’all do this with a pair of western cowboy boots
Those are some sic boots - nice work! I love the soul and the sole of that boot!
Awesome job! That outsole would be killer on a pair of desert tan Nick's tactical boot!!!
“Hammer time”. Love Steve’s channel ! 💪💪
I look North from my mobile home park and can see Bel Air. The guys that live there use you for their shoes and boots. I like watching you work. Sound effects are great. I thought you were old school till I heard flip flops. Onto my bucket list y’all.
Just WOW, guys!! Sure hope these new creations don't wind up in asphalt again!!
Haha…we agree!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Man Steve is the go to guy in the cobbler community, love that guy!
This just showed up in my feed, so this is the first time seeing one of your videos. Found the whole thing fascinating. Liked and subbed.
That should be a Nick’s model. I want a pair of nicks with the high arch but also like the soft outsole like that. And the stitching is beautiful!
I really like the Norwegian welt. That looks really good, and very durable! Well done guys.
Impressive skills Heath, small details are everything, you guys did a great job.
Thanks so much!
I love Norwegian welts AKA (The Storm Welt ☔).

Holy smokes that’s a huge heal stack!

Those new soles are incredible!
Very relaxing watching boots and shoes repaired by hand. I swear man you look a younger version of George Clooney. Awesome video.
Teamwork makes the dream work! Great collab T&H and Nick's.
Thank you!
Nice to see you guys out of your comfort zone! I'm a 10E just sayin..
These boots look great. Job well done.
So, now that the boot is remade on a different last, with a different size, what is to become of them? Did I miss something along the way?
9:28 😂 This image made me bust out laughing 😅. Love your channel. You guys are miracle workers!
Is there anything you guys can't do with footwear? Outstanding video. I love watching craftsmen at their trade. Thank you for posting.
😜😜OOPS! OLDER1 STILL ROCKS🤣🤣🤣🤣
Took them from "Working man's to Gay man's" LOL
still great work

Nigh on a Ship of Theseus. Have you guys ever just built a pair of shoes from scratch on the channel?
These are really great boots! Literally if you know what your looking at.
Idk what it is about Spokane Wa and boots but we seem to be known for our boot manufacturers with Whites and nicks. Great video
Even though I wouldn't even be buried in these, I do have to tip my hat to the workmanship.
Great work enjoyed the video you basically made a new pair of boots out of the old ones not taking away from what you did I personally prefer the old War Out look takes years to get character

Thank you. We owe a great attitude to those who make our roads!
I worked streets maintenance many years ago and hot asphalt would tear the less expensive boots to bits in short time. Nick's boots are made very well, it seems!
You guys are total Rockstars!!! Big fan!! Keep on with thr awesome work!!
Love everything about these!!!
Wow, great job! Top-notch! Thanks again and again! Keep on following you, guys!
I enjoyed this deep level rebuild and the craftsmanship on display. The end result was not my personal cup of tea, but that does not make the process any less impressive! Great job guys!
Those are a serious pair of boots. Top work guys.
Wow. I've never seen you guys take a boot down this far. Talk about complete rebuild.
Awww the cork!!! 🥹
Well put together video, enjoyed seeing a complete construction of a pair of boots. 👍
Good job guys…all the best & take care!
Nice! Always interesting to see the process. Would love to have sent you a pair from back in the day when I was a hardwood floor finisher. About once a month we had to use a knife to cut the varnish off the boot.
