I always get nervous when a band says they "tried to mix it up" on an album. Hoping for the best from this album.
22 songs? and only 11 made the cut? whoa
***** yeah but the fact that they had 22 to begin with is nuts

Animation It's normal, really normal that in the bands or the artists nowadays have to choose 9, 10, 12 song for a record, in fact, 15 song in this moment it's a big time in a record, and by the way, it's a way of choose the better songs of the list, with the better riffs, lyrics and all the stuff. Most of the people enjoy less songs with a short time. Just imagine one record of death metal music with a 22 songs and 80 minutes with a bunch of good songs, and others really horrible and the same shit in about 2 hours, that turns a little bit bored :P . The industry in this times works in that way.
JFord. Animation It's crazy but hey maybe they will use the other songs that didn't make it for the next album haha
JFord. Animation Imagine how many songs rap artists have to go through. Rap albums have, like, 16-20 songs on average, so they would have to choose between, like, 30-40 or even 50 songs. Why else do you think posthumous 2Pac albums are still being made? :^)

It's gonna be up there man. Check A Night in Texas- The God Delusion and Angelmaker-Dissentient, personally those are so far my favorite deathcore albums of 2015.

Are they finally calling themselves deathcore? CJ has said in other interviews that they don't want that label on them and prefers 'modern extreme metal', but at 3.20 Andy calls them a deathcore band.

I've been a Thy Art Is Murder fan ever since they started and I am disappointed with this release along the lines of inadequacy. As Lee Stanton says, "I've never really been an over the top technical drummer". That's bullshit and complete and utter laziness on your part Thy Art. Don't turn into every other sell out in this world guys, play the music you were destined for!
