Many commute from as far away as Southern NH.
we love japan for the same reasons they love us. i love sushi and the scenery and the culture and they love big macs and barbecue and Hollywood. I'm sure them loving us isn't a cosign for the Japanese internment camps we had in California or the crazy amounts of racism, just like me loving japan isn't a cosign for Japanese imperialism or rampant xenophobia.
Interviewer didn't ask what you think of American foreign policy. So, not sure what you're getting angry at. Japanese don't like giving offense, so they may have avoided speaking to it.
next time you go to Japan, go to Kumano dorm at kyoto university. an independent communal dorm associated with Japan Revolutionary Communist League (not to be confused with mainstream communist party which is pretty much just centrist left). they have memorials to japanese red army fighters whomst deeds i probably shouldn't mention here, and also still regularly get raided by the cops due to revolutionary actors who live there. they also have raves most weekends. i dunno what their policy on livestreaming is though. you should also visit yoshida dorm which is another communal leftist dorm but more hippy dippy. they do not like filming at all, though.
I can relate. I know shit about Japan, but I love seeing the pink or blue hair, all the neon, and the anime-based shit like stuffed animals being totally normalized.
Same, i like how 'cute' fashion and aesthetics arent as shamed as they are in the west/america. People can dress in the style of lolita and ect, and itd be a lot less shamed than it is here. This isnt 100% the case for japan and they do have a misogyny problem, but i enjoy the cute/anime culture there.

I get that we have some beautiful hotels in America, but so many Japanese hotels are just as nice and also have options of different room styles, like Japanese tatami style, western style, or a fusion of Japanese+Western. same thing for the food at some places. but also the biggest thing for me is that lots of nice Japanese hotels have private hot spring baths attached to the room. some American hotels have hot tubs in their rooms but it’s not a lot of them and it’s not the same.
people in tokyo city don't think about US military occupation, why would they? there are bases all over japan, not just okinawa, though. okinawa has more tension because okinawa is also colonized by japan, not just us. so basically double occupied. plus for whatever reason seems us military commit more crimes there than at other bases, not sure why. maybe they just get caught more.

I live in Japan for almost 20 years and is saddening to see the level of cultural colonization and blind love for anything from USA that is enforced into the heads of Japanese people since early age. When I first went to USA I was shocked of how shit it is. Even Brazil has better standards.
Hardly anyone in Japan has a passport, they never leave. I almost never see Japanese people in the US. Koreans, Chinese, Vietnamese all day, but no Japanese.
Lol I know plenty of Japanese people in California so idk what your on about. Also, Japanese people mostly go to other Asian countries and most often then not, most goes to Europe.
Dude in LA we have Little Tokyo/Little Akihabara DTLA, Sawtelle Little Osaka in West LA, lots of authentic ramen and sushi in Gardena/Torrance and further south in OC/Costa Mesa. Are you in like Idaho or something?
Because Japan is a nice place to live..they do come to the US to places like NYC, but they stay within a certain bubble for vacation, usually white, middle to upper middle class, and when they do encounter racism/discrimination they usually don't know how to process it or they make excuses for it or my favorite "I'm not Chinese" as if the person being racist to them cares. If they actually do come to stay, they have very different views and may look to return home unless there are reasons why they can't or they got a particularly big anchor here. Right now there's more Japanese looking to move out, but not because they love elsewhere more, it's money, Japanese economy isn't doing too hot right now. Whatever problems you find in Japan you will find in the US and more. Overwork? You don't think people with 2-3 jobs or doing 14 hour shifts to make ends meet aren't overworked? Sex harassment and assault? come on now....Misogyny/Racism? Japan is a US colony straight up. Hiroshima has an AIRFORCE BASE. Not a ground base, a navy base, its. AN AIRFORCE BASE. The government that the US installed to force their constitutional reform was actually war crminal families, Abe was the grandson of a war criminal etc. So its all by US design. In the 60s, his grandpappy banned Politics in university, and Abe wanted to ban THE HUMANITIES. So that's part of why Japanese people discuss socioeconomics and international relations in such a nutty way. America has them by the balls. There's alot of control and propaganda and not alot of free talk and democracy. In 2015 they also promulgated the secrecy law, which basically STATES OUT LOUD that the government can keep secrets from the public. It is a fascist state. If you want to learn more about postwar Japanese politics research the student movement of the 60s. Also listen to and read artists like Mishima etc.

Boston may be a great place to not have a car, but because of the housing situation, and the large number of students (literally half the population are college students) a huge population drive in to commute at least part of the way.
We are equalboos. Weeaboos and Ameriboos
To be fair, our media is one of the only things I like about the US 😂
Not just our media but also our diversity(melting pot culture)We have here in America . You can find anyone here really. Also the food is really good.

SAN DIEGO IS THE GATEWAY TO A VERY COOL MEXICO BRO!
Our public transport is way better than LAs lol
WE DONT HAVE POLLEN? MF I BEEN DROWNIN IN POLLEN STORMS EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS WHAT DO YOU MEEEEAAAAN
next time you go to Japan, go to Kumano dorm at kyoto university. an independent communal dorm associated with Japan Revolutionary Communist League (not to be confused with mainstream communist party which is pretty much just centrist left). they have memorials to japanese red army fighters whomst deeds i probably shouldn't mention here, and also still regularly get raided by the cops due to revolutionary actors who live there. they also have raves most weekends. i dunno what their policy on livestreaming is though. you should also visit yoshida dorm which is another communal leftist dorm but more hippy dippy. they do not like filming at all, though.

Is it just me or did chat seem too big? Like I know I’m autistic and I might just be getting annoyed over nothing but it feels more like split screen instead of just having it on part of the screen. Live the video itself seems too small
Google "aspect ratio"
It's edited to be like that. What annoys me more is when the video is playing but the Hasan portion of the stream is left big when he is not talking.
i’m sorry but “Like I know i’m autistic” is so funny
what about the fact that it's all those people shouting at one guy. kinda dystopian tbh.

I get that we have some beautiful hotels in America, but so many Japanese hotels are just as nice and also have options of different room styles, like Japanese tatami style, western style, or a fusion of Japanese+Western. same thing for the food at some places. but also the biggest thing for me is that lots of nice Japanese hotels have private hot spring baths attached to the room. some American hotels have hot tubs in their rooms but it’s not a lot of them and it’s not the same.
the guy was talking about research triangle park in nc. hes right
people in tokyo city don't think about US military occupation, why would they? there are bases all over japan, not just okinawa, though. okinawa has more tension because okinawa is also colonized by japan, not just us. so basically double occupied. plus for whatever reason seems us military commit more crimes there than at other bases, not sure why. maybe they just get caught more.
There are lots of homeless people in Japan, you just don't see them because begging is illegal in Japan.

They’re mostly in hawaii or sometimes california. They’re still rare to find though.
Dude in LA we have Little Tokyo/Little Akihabara DTLA, Sawtelle Little Osaka in West LA, lots of authentic ramen and sushi in Gardena/Torrance and further south in OC/Costa Mesa. Are you in like Idaho or something?
@@hitachicordobaWhich generation Japanese are they? I doubt many are new immigrants.
Where do you think Japanese learn it from? do you know how weird it is to hear Japanese use the same racist asian sterotypes, but think it only applies to Chinese or Koreans?
They like the art that misery creates.
When I was in South Korea I felt very safe walking by myself at night (as a woman) which is crazy cus in the US I’ve had so many creepy experiences I don’t go anywhere by myself at night. Between that and the amazing public transportation, I wish I could live there

Hasanabi showing he hates America. He won't allow that non-Americans like America. So he absurdly says, in effect, "No they don't. They just like America's culture." That's one of the main reasons why a person would like a country. SMH. He knows his take is silly, because he hesitates before the word "culture", wishing he could use a word that makes the affection for America look trivial. His go to earlier in the video was something like, "They just like our junk." Then he realized he was actually dissing non Americans by saying that. Dude is lost. I like him though. Good man. 6:45
