Thank you for your continued support! 😃It's always extra-special to see people who've watched from the beginning. How did you find it this year? We did try and design the middle two acts to be a bit more "open" and sandboxy. That was partially inspired by your feedback from last year 🥰
@@cynicalsoapbox This year was great, can't believe you got Gale and Pudge! Using the court room flashbacks as a framing device was a really smart idea to cut down on travel time when transitioning between acts. It's honestly astounding what the team achieved on a technical level with minimal hiccups, the new graphics added a lot and I think having the objectives on screen helped keep Pyrion and Spiff on track. Also I was too harsh on you last year as I remember the early years with rose tinted glasses and my selective memory probably forgets the rougher bits from those times. You guys do all this for free and for charity and I don't think I'll ever truly comprehend the amount of work that goes into it. If I can repeat one of Pyrion's suggestions for next year: some behind the scenes would be really interesting!
@@ForeverTraitor Good faith critique is always welcome! The point is to make a unique and knowingly overly-ambitious adventure. It's useful to know what does/doesn't resonate with people on first watch😆. There's lots of great freestyle/emergent RP out there (NoPixel etc.) but no one else really attempts this format at scale, so we just have to experiement to see what works. I actually totally agree that it was a bit too "on-rails" last year! (although I am of course still super proud of what we achieved). It's fun to try different things and adjust the sliders each adventure, but I was really happy with the mix that we managed to achieve this time around. Shame you guys didn't get to see the instagram on-stream. That would have been bants, but they closed the prepared browser windows on the streaming PCs 🙃
