"I'm me. And I'm right here. Waiting for you to accept it." 😢💔 Roger Howarth is so incredibly talented. This was a powerhouse scene, The music was beautiful also.
@@debb481 I was just thinking that when I was watching some old clips this morning. They could have kept them as two people who really deeply cared for one another because I think they still did instead of turning Tea into a shrieking harpy, and there being no emotion between them except her hatred
Todd might have been the love of Tea's life but history proves that Blair is the love of Todd's life. RHTodd's reactions to Blair after thsays it all. I'm not even mad about the attempts to make TnT as something all-consuming during this recent run of TnT. Because it wasn't Todd Manning at all!. Todd wouldn't choose Tea over Blair and he didn't. Hee.
I'm amused that I'm back into being a Todd/Blair fan again. I haven't watched this show since early 2000s but the minute RH was back in the same frame as KDP and he kissed her and dared her to forget him, I was 13 years old again. I feel like I'm back to shipping them like it was 1998 and he was with Tea and I STILL wanted him to be with Blair. I'm 99% positive that they are endgame for when the show ends on TV.
This was a good reconnection with these two. Good flashbacks, fun banter. The TnB reconnection at the reveal was fun to watch as well. Wish we had the Todd and Blair flashback to their kiss at the beginning of this clip.
This was a good episode. Tea knows. It's in the mannerisms. Heck, as a viewer it's in the mannerisms for me. lol. I'm glad he asked her how could she not have known. Can't wait to see the scenes tomorrow w/Vicki!
This was the dumbest storyline. They believe a guy who looks, sounds and moves nothing like Todd is Todd, but they don't believe that the guy who looks, sounds and moves like Todd is Todd. It's not like the character has a really generic look or personality. 🤦
@MrCastiel28 How does he belong with Tea? He's never ever chosen her over Blair. It's always been Blair. The only time "Todd" chose Tea over Blair was when he wasn't even the real Todd!! Tea has always wanted a vision of a different Todd, not the man as he was. She got that with Victor. TnT doesn't have anything unexplored because for them to work, it would take Todd changing into the vision of Todd that Tea has in her head. That man is not Todd. *kanyeshrug*
Come now writers, if we have to see the beach sex flashback it's only fair we see Todd's immediate reaction after he FINALLY did the deed with Tea. lol
A recap: Right after he and Tea FINALLY have sex (while stranded on an island and after Blair has rejected him) he dreams of his wedding night with Blair and then looks at Blair's picture the minute he wakes up. Then he tells Tea that he loves Blair and leaves the island to get to her even after Tea asks him to stay and with the real possibility he might die on the way home. As Vicki notes, he takes the only raft. Once home, Vicki asks him about Tea's well being on the island after he left and he has not yet contacted rescuers. Vicki is really upset by that. Wow!That situation conveyed so much about the intensity of Todd's feelings for Tea and Blair.
6 years after, still love this story, tad slow. This and the Dani intro story. ABC massively screwed up letting this show go. ABC, its not too late to rectify the situation.
You got that right!!! Luckily I haven't given up hope for their reunion! Nora already appeared on GH. OLTL and AMC will be revived soon I hope. RH can be recurring as Todd while in contract in GH as Franco. That way we don't lost Todd and Friz.
I never appreciated David Vickers back when when I was watching this show. To me he was eclipsed by Todd but honestly that actor is hilarious! Such a good actor and really truly funny. Love when he acts with Roger Howarth. Talented guy!
They are great together. Love them both. In one scene, Todd should be getting really upset by what David is saying re: Blair and Tomas but RH is trying really hard not to laugh and not completely succeeding because David is very funny while saying it.
Things go south for Tea and Todd pretty quickly after this. Tea resents his past rejections and "abandonment" of her on the island. Even worse is her pain re: Victor's shooting, Tomas's kidnapping and the baby switch. It must be awful for her to think Todd would try to kill Victor, whom she loves so much! Todd's part in the baby switch was not meant to harm her but the impact was awful- she had to grieve 2 babies, not one. The result of all her pain: at the time his story is over they are barely speaking.
@@debb481 True. Very strange however that she didn't seem to care that Tomas participated in relegating Todd to a lifetime of torture and imprisonment. It was like it was no big deal in the show. Strange. Also Victor tries to kill Todd several times too and she knows about that.
@@Justicia007 I thought Victor only tried to kill him once-with the poison and strangling in 2013. I certainly could be wrong about that!! But Tea started acting like Victor was some kind of saint. And I agree that Tomas was pretty much given a pass re: Todd's abduction. He gave them some excuses for it which they seem to have bought into.
@@debb481 Yes I agree! Tea did start acting like Victor was flawless, and the truth was Todd was a far better person than Victor ever was. When I said Victor tried to kill Todd twice, I meant once with poison and then once with strangling, although they both happened around the same time. I couldn't stand Tomas! If you saw it that same character when his name was alcazar on GH, he was a cold-blooded murderer far worse than Todd could dream of being. After kidnapping Monica to dress his gunshot wound and save his life, as soon as he was well enough he instructed his thug to get rid of her!
@@Justicia007 I didn't know the Tomas/Alcazar history though it sounded like he was pretty bad! Tea annoyed me after awhile with both her adoration of Victor and her attacks on Todd, a couple of which I thought he deserved but certainly not all of them. Of course, some of her anger is rooted in the more distant past-feeling rejected, abandoned by him.
They all should have realized, the real Todd Manning moved in a certain way and had a certain grace and athleticism even when he was walking. I don't think Victor moves or walks anything like him.
Not a shred of evidence to support that! He's shown no romantic interest in her since 2002 when he left her for Blair. Last time they were together before that, in 2000, she had to leave him because he still didn't sleep with her. He's been wanting Blair through the early 2000's and will pursue her for most of 2011-2013 (Carly briefly) and he remarries Blair in the end. He and Tea are barely speaking by that time. Love of his life-no way. And Victor is the love of her life, she says.
I see that there are the typical "Todd and Blair" vs. "Todd and Téa" debates below, including the notion that Todd has always been about Blair and was never about Téa, despite the fact that Todd was very much about Téa in 1998 and when he specifically came back for Téa in 2000. Oh well. Same ole; same ole. I'm a fan of both couples (though I lean more toward the Todd and Téa couple), and never will I act like one of these women never meant a great deal to Todd.
Todd NEVER loved anyone more than he loves Blair and vice versa. Todd & tea were never in love that much nor deep. The only woman todd has always been in love with is Blair!
There was a huge difference in Todd's feelings towards these 2 women over the long run. Todd chose Blair from 2002 on. And he never had a normal, fulfilling relationship with Tea. Even in 2000 when they went away together he still didn't have sex with her. He loved Tea but it seems like she was more of a mother figure to him than a romantic interest. She certainly indicated in 2011 that she had felt rejected sexually by him and she also felt abandoned on the island. Tea was lucky to find Victor, a man who truly loved and wanted her.
real Todd and Tea belong together period. If they brought back RH just for another round of TnB then I will totally denounce the show. TnB just have no more story to tell, that's why they're always so on and off; they ran out of steam a long time ago. I have never liked TnB as a couple because they peaked long ago while TnT still has so much unexplored potential. RH and FL still got it - the connection that is always in the eyes. That is chemistry. So please, no more TnB! Please!!!

@debb481 I Don't believe that has anything to do with TnB purported popularity. I believe there were behind the scenes reasons that they kept perpetuating TnB even though they fundamentally are a dead relationship. That's why they can never last together very long when they are actually put together. They are are a manufacted connection, that's all I will ever see them as. It's ok if u not agree, u are entitled to your opinion. But I will never see TnB as u do, and that is just fact
@Skaizies I have. And after Tea, they are just completely unfeasible to me because there is something there with Tea that is just not there with Blair. When Todd is with Tea, I can BELIEVE it because their connection comes off naturally without all the bombast they use to sell TnB. I think even RH and KDP know that TnB are a dead horse relationship and it comes through in their acting with each other. They have a very going through the motions sort of feeling that tells me they personally both are over these two as an item. That's probably why RH is happy to an intermittent presence on the show because he grows tired of the sham TnB relationship
