I learned this in grade school. I am 65 now and found that we can never have world peace. Only Jesus, the Prince of Peace, can satisfy us. His Word found in the Bible has given me inner peace when I understood that lambs used to be sacrificed during the olden times and only the perfect lamb of God sacrificed on the Cross could bring everlasting peace through His Resurrection power when he was raised from the dead on the third day.

I felt safe then. Our world has spun so out of control to the worst. I just wish our children and grandchildren could live as we did. Not walk around and live in fear; whether it be to walk outside to see a beautiful sunrise, or go shopping, or to church or in public without fear. Figuratively speaking, the tent of God will be with mankind, says Revelation 21:3, 4 and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. What a time to look forward to!

This song brings me to tears every time I hear it. It triggers some buried emotion. It's good to get that out of my system sometimes. I saw Vince Gill on a whim at the Beau Rivage Casino and was floored. It was a top 5 show and I have seen hundreds. He is an amazing songwriter and just an incredible guitarist. I lean towards classic rock and southern rock yet I became an instant fan and bought his album. Rock on Vince!
