I know it’s been a journey for you, and a lot of work, but I subscribed in your first year and to me it went by so quick. This is so crazy, seems like it was yesterday. So happy for you.
I work at the same hospital as you, and passed you on the street a couple weeks back (you were on the phone so I didn't say anything), but it's been so amazing watching your journey! Hope you're loving residency!
I’m now going into my 5th year of undergrad and subscribed to you when i was going into my 1st year, and you have kept me so motivated toward applying to medical school. I have taken my MCAT twice now, third time in a few weeks and sending out my canadian med school apps in about a month. thank you for everything, for showing me the good and hard times, and for making this journey a little less lonely. So beyond incredibly proud of you Dr. Maha!!! ❤️
I been following you see my pre-med years and fast forward I’m now a first year med student and your videos make me feel so much more hyped up for my upcoming years!! Thank you♥️
Missed you on here, Maha! Wishing you well and hope that your transition to residency went smoothly :) May Allah SWT grant you ease as you continue on this journey!
I subscribed to this channel when you posted your first week of medschool vlog. How time flies Masha Allah. I hope you grow as a person and doctor and I hope you grow more on youtube Ameen ❤
I am so so happy for you, i was here from the beginnig of your journey, and its so great to see you happy with your descicions. It just makes me happy to see how happy you are. Lots of love to you and your family 💛
Dropping by to say I am very proud of you, was here almost at the start of your journey, and It great to see how far you have come!! You are going to be a great doctor!
MashAllah! Current med student here, and watching your videos and seeing how far you've come gives me so much motivation! May Allah continue to give you barakah in your hard work and give you lots of success in this journey
I subscribed to your channel when im in high school. Now i finished my pre-uni and applying to medschool. Still remember back then I watch your vid studying for yr exam in medschool while me studying HS biology. Anyway congratulations and I wish you all the best :)
Can I ask you something ? Are they okay with you wearing longarm shirts in the hospital because here in Germany it's harder as an hijabi to be accepted in nursing...Sometimes you have to take your hijab off and in most case you have to wear shortarm shirts but when I watch other videos I see that in other countries people can wear longarm
Yes, here in the US its definitely free will with dressing how you would like to an extent. There are certain biases though. I know a lot of people take off their piercings and hide their tattoos before they go for interviews for Med Schools and Residency. After you get accepted, no one can tell you how you should or should not dress, and so people will generally put their piercings back in. Im sorry about the prejudice you face. I wish you good luck
@@ForsakenForWhat yes you're right. İ will begin my nursing training this year inshaAllah and won't let they get me down. İ know it could be difficult sometimes but İ will try my best. Thank you very much for your words.
Nope ...sorry to burst your bubble but u gotta go through 4 years of premed then you got through the 4 years of medical which in total is 8years and if you wanna specialize like for 3xample bieng a neurosurgeon you would have to go through 7 years of residency (it does depend on what you wanna specialize with
