1⃣ HackMotion Deal - geni.us/HackMotionDeals
I have a hackmotion, got it in the black friday sales and its been fantastic. For anyone that didn't understand what it was trying to do... It diagnosed flipping at impact so it wanted to get the hands forward at impact with more shaft lean and get the wrists into flexion (bowed). In the drill it was trying to force an exaggerated version of that motion.
It takes time to change a pattern but stick at it.
The Hackmotion is great. Has it helped you ?
@@gdouglass10 I’m considering this. What was the Black Friday deal so I can look for a deal close to that
@@rpa1918 In the UK I got the Core version for £200, in the US it would be $250
@@GolfersAuthority Sure has, its not a miracle worker tho so I still have to work on other swing mechanics but its great for helping with face control. The drills are excellent too.
My particular flaw it identified I didnt know I had was too much flexion at impact (dragging the handle through impact) and its really helped changing my release pattern.
@@rpa1918 I got mine in the UK, deal was £200 for the core version, it would be $250 in the US
So glad I didn't get hack motion especially after seeing this... You hit good shots and your hands are in the yellow and bad shots your hands are in the green on hack motion. This is the same reason I returned my DeWiz unit. I could be in sync with the "Good" parameters and the shot looks terrible. The best thing that helped me improve my swing was taking a video of it and using a launch monitor for swing path direction, club face data and my impact angle (hitting 2-4 degrees down with irons and hitting up with driver).
What did you use to film yourself? Just a cell phone or did you have anything fancy?
You probabbly had it on your hand wrong and calibrated badly. Mine is great.
So I just got a Hackmotion and am having similar struggles. One thing I think happens is that if you start at address with a flexed wrist, it wants you to have a MORE flexed wrist at impact to get into the green zone. Not sure I caught it right in the video, but it looked like you were at -45ish at address.
Oh I will try that. Did you get past level 1?
@ yup. Been all the way to level 3, which was a miserable failure.
LOL, farther than me so far
Check where you have it on your hand and your calibration. Then ad address check where 0 is that should be all straight. if you have to be flex to get to 0 you have it set up badly. I does not want "more flexed wrist" it just wants more than 0
@@GolfersAuthority you need to look up "parallel" in the dictionary, its only taking back the club to be even (parallel) with the floor, it even shoes you a picture and you ignored it everytime and swing back way fast P6, slow down. look and read, Aslo look up "impact position" if you don't get forward onto your front side in the turn you will not be able to hit a decenting blow, you will always pick the ball and flip the club to do it.
Calibration is all over the place. I’d suggest re-doing this after re calibrating the hack motion
Very nice set up. Do you think the r50 is worth the money? Seems like an perfect way to get sim in house
So funny when you said this is how we learn then next shot was bad and your reaction still makes me laugh
LOL, I just watched this back again and didn't even notice it. So funny!
If you tuck your right elbow in during your backswing and slow down your transistion your consistency will improve dramatically.
are you just using the core? sorry i may have missed you mention in the video
i don't have a sim but at the range it could come in handy too
Yes, do you have Hackmotion too?
@@GolfersAuthority Not yet! I've been a good boy according to the wife though! 🤣
If you have an extended wrist and hit hooks, it's not your wrist.
Normally you would play a fade or slice with it. Your problem is more that you get to the ball too steeply and from the outside.
I think you need to work more on getting the golf club more behind you and flatter.
Unfortunately, hackmotion doesn't help you there.
What do you recommend to help me with this?
I'll be waiting for the R50 2.0 with a detachable screen you can put on a tripod at chest high, my back and eyesight arnt coping with that screen down there.
Can run an HDMI cable to a monitor on a stand
Wish I could afford a setup like that. I'd be happy if I could afford the r50 alone. I currently have a net and some foam flooring set up in an old potato barn in my back yard.
Does the r50 have problems with ball speed? Some of those shots were 170 plus lol jw cause I bought the r50.
I was thinking the same thing until i noticed it’s in km/h and not mph.
Oh I did not notice that lol that makes more sense then
Oh crap, yeah I must have switched it to Km. No I am not in Canada or Europe :)
Because Hackmotion paid so much money to Top RUclips golfers to promote their product
Just use mustard instead
Everyone? Sure…the rich folks anyways. The rest of us can barely afford our green fees.
You didn't follow instructions. Club was supposed to be parallel to the ground. You were swing way beyond that. That is why it wasn't giving you good results.
“Everyone”
Should be Lesson, Hackmotion and R50, no point spending thousands on the toys without also matching it with lessons. Try it - worth every penny/dime
Yeah, I am starting that too in a couple of weeks. Did you get lessons?
@@GolfersAuthority Yep, I had tons of theory but needed to figure out how to implement it. The key thing was the 'feel' my trainer imparts. My swing after just two lessons has improved, and this time, it is being built on sound foundations
he's using a hack motion lesson (badly)
