I like to think that the Kremean War is the one that Mario fought in in Mario's Bombs Away. The Northern Kremisphere seems to be on some sort of mainland. So of course the humans might get involved. I'm not too deep into the theories revolving around the Kremean War, but it could explain the prisoner Kongs in Super Mario RPG. During the war, some Kongs were taken as prisoners, but managed to escape to the Mushroom Kingdom, building a village in Wiggler Forest (potentially near Rocky Valley from DK'94?). Or perhaps the Kremean War was so widespread, that an already existing Kong village in Wiggler Forest was invaded. That would explain why they still have their chains on. Perhaps the game takes place shortly after the war ended. Regarding the Northern Kremisphere (NK) itself, I tend to see that group of Kremlings as entirely separate to the Crocodile Isle (CI) gang. The majority of NK Kremlings have underbites and large eyes, while most CI Kremlings have beadier eyes and standard snouts. Not to mention that NK Kremlings just look pretty crazy in general. In DK64, not a single NK Kremling is in K Rool's army (although Rekoils were planned at one point). And if K Rool was trying to act undercover in DKC3, why was his army still a bunch of kremlings? Because those kremlings aren't his! They're native to the NK! The one time a NK Kremling reappeared (Kopter in Barrel Blast), they got redesigned to look more like Kritter, potentially meaning they aren't the same species as the DKC3 Kopters? K Rool would've came in, started building his crazy machines (like KAOS, and potentially the mechanical Crocodile Isle), and influenced the NK Kremlings to join him for the time being. After he was defeated, the NK Kremlings went back to their usual lives. I always saw the DKC1 Kremling ruins as being standard ruins that were defaced by the invaders. Although Kremlantis definitely seems to suggest otherwise. Perhaps the Kremlings actually lived in peace with the Kongs in the past, until tensions rose driving them out, and eventually leading to the war.
Awesome insights, I'm a big fan of this 'Lore Tour' series. By the way, there are some underwater ruins in the background of DKC3's 'Sunken Spruce' level on the GBA. Any thoughts on those?
If you think the kremean war (Crimea war) doesn't fit in. Just look at the map of the northern kremisphere. It's shaped like the caspian sea. Kaos kore is basically a castle in moscow and the volga river flows right into it
In retrospect it seems so obvious that the kremlings are the ancestral owners of the entire archipelago considering their connections with so many ancient structures.
I always take Krocodile Kore being the the lair of Kerosene, Crocodile isle’s island Deity similar to Tiki Tong and the Banana Bird queen, considering he summons Kleaver as a weapon and his massive size, Krocodile Kore is where Kremling’s used to make sacrifices to keep their island healthy and prosperous as time went on however they neglected their duty and ruined the island on their own, leading to the final showdown in Krocodile Kore where K. Rool desperately tried to get some sort of advantage from Kerosene, only for it to literally blow up in his face, and frustrated with the supposed leader of the Kremling’s disrespecting the land with run down amusement parks and many wrecked ships, Kerosene sunk the island, with DKL2 being K. Rool’s last attempt to appease an angry island deity, considering the current state of the Kremlings, yea it didn’t work out
After watching this video, I'm just wondering how the Caribbean from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean factors into this as well as the Tri-Island Area from the Monkey Island series given that both PotC and MI are represented in Sea of Thieves as well
I love this DKU Lore series, this is like the culmination of DK Vine’s obsessive mapping of Rare’s connected world

Based stargate reference
I can't believe a Donkey Kong video spoiled Lost for me. I had been dodging Lost spoilers for years!

Pacifica originally came up but I excised it from the final draft. It will be discussed a bit in the next video!
So the Kongs are the enemy, They are on Kremling Land. K Rool is a hero.

Dang this is the nerdiest video I've ever seen. It's great.
The source is like the Hist in Elder Scrolls, for the reptilian race the Argonians.

Great video! I've used it as a reference for a history work in school. Got a K out of 10! Thank you very much :)
Great lore video
Great Mario Super Sluggers video!
@@DKVine glad you enjoyed it
They said that Banjo Kazooie and Conker aren’t canon to DKC, bc they were removed from the Diddy Kong Racing remake

Which Star Fox is that scene from?
All right I watched most of the video and I will now say that the kremlings worship Sobek
