But otherwise an important factor.

Honestly one of the best tracks in the franchise. Every time the song plays in game I stop playing just to listen to it. I wish Atlus would acknowledge that this game still exists...
Personally from all of the persona series P2 is my favourite in many aspects like music (there's no theme that bothers me), characters and story, Jun can be you lover, every character has a moment in the limelight and the ending is sad and bitter-sweet, also it was my first persona game. If atlus remake this game it would still be my favourite, imagine the *contact* interactions with p5 graphics, the amount lf cutscenes that they can make with this game is incredibly insane, I just hope that one day atlus... please atlus, make this one again 😢😢😢💔
Idk i found the ending somewhat satisfying, not so much on Lisa, Eikichi and Jun side since they still feel something was off, but atleast Tatsuya, Ulala, Katsuya and Baofu are living a much better life and the world isnt under pressure or anything

Saying that FeMC isn't canon is the same as to say that the whole persona series isn't canon to smt: nocturne or digital devil saga coz they are happening in parallel realities. The whole smt franchise is like that
She is canon, if she weren't Atlus wouldn't have even put her in P3P, P3P would just be another remake of P3 but no they added Minako for new possibilities, her route is amazing except that they screwed up with chosing a main persona but its fine as she is a wild card so she can take any persona. Also we all want justice for the two pillars that made Persona of what it is today but Atlus has no courage to touch 1 and 2 not because they dont want to, they just don't want to screw up the master pieces that are Persona 1 and 2, the only thing they could do was port them, the reason is that the guy that made the two masterpieces left Atlus and he is the only one who knows how the P1 and P2 casts go so of course they wouldn't want to ruin his work

I loaded up Persona 2 IS for the first time a few days ago, and when Maya popped in I was taken aback at how I not only immediately noticed the music change like a slap in the face, but also by how damn good the track itself is.
I never finished this game because my psp and game got stolen, but damn does it bring back memories. Such an amazing theme, game and characters, i played persona 5, close to finishing 3 and starting 4 soon but when i hear the soundtracks of this game i feel a stronger connection with it than the rest of the games.. its kinda hard to explain

It's confirmed to be on Xbox 1, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC, and Steam, and is rumored to be on the Nintendo Switch, though that hasn't been shown to be true yet as of me writing this comment.
@@143parsley PPSSPP on both PC and mobiles and Epsxe for PS1, incase you dont know much about P2 overall start with Innocent Sin (psp version since its the one in english) then play eternal punishment because its a direct sequel and has the conclusion to the story (on PS1 because again the official e glish release is there, but im not sure if fan translation of psp one is completed). But if you happen to enjoy the world and characters a lot i reconmend not necessarily playing but checking SMT IF... and Persona 1 because few characters from those games make an appearance and 3 are even playable party members in Persona 2 duology.

How sad that such a positive theme as Maya Theme was ruined in the PSP version, at least you have the option to switch to the original soundtrack, but it doesn't hide the fact that this version is still there, I better should stick with PSX, after all is the better version
