30 Min Morning Hatha Yoga | Morning Yoga Routine for Stress Relief

  • This morning sequence helps you slow down, and counteract rushing, and it is what my own morning practice looks like much of the time. Today's 30-minute hatha yoga class is ideal for beginners and those of you looking for a more mindful way to release stress.

    Hatha yoga is known for holding the asana - the yoga poses - for longer periods of time. While the Vinyasa style of yoga moves quicker, one breath per movement, in Hatha, we usually spend 3 - 5 breaths in each posture. This makes it perfect for beginners. Each posture is meant to cultivate energy through a particular chakra. In a way, Hatha yoga is the original chakra yoga! For this 10-minute Hatha yoga flow class, we move through the postures slowly and carefully, making it a delicious way to start the day. If you’re new to yoga, recovering from an injury, or are looking to de-stress by moving slowly and mindfully, this style of yoga is exactly what you need. Optional Props: Two Yoga Blocks.

    Woke up early with a tight chest and so much anxiety. Did the first part of this practice wrapped in a blanket. I find that your classes are one of the best ways for me to cope with my anxiety when it visits. Your voice is such a calm, safe guide and I feel I have so much trust in you.     Ive been doing this for days sine February 25 -March for days when Im nervous dancing around for days when receive a letter from the mail of the Berkshire Medical Center BMC waiting for days with anxiety of my results I was a little last week they didnt order a urine Nothing I can do about it,I miss doing a lot of stuff,I dont go to work anymore I miss parties,I miss going to movies, I dont dine downstairs with my family anymore.
