Band of Brothers.. dear god. This must be the best World War 2 series ever. There's just so much awesome.. everywhere. I especially love that part in (probably episode five) where that soldier still has hope, and during the chaos of battle, learns to fight in a hopeless situation. Super dramatic. I'm glad this series got the massive amount of recognition it deserved. So glad..
@RiflemanExpert Ya, 15 years isn't very long in the terms of space between wars, people were still angry about WW1 and Hitler even used that to his advantage. And Invading Belgium was okay?
@specter1555 actually there where two scenes where the first one was where winters was in the battle and killed him in that one he was older in paris he looks at a kid in the train and thinks what it would be if it where that kid that got shot. but in his book he said that the soldier was going for a grenade
mostly the people weren't worried about it because of the depression their priority was to end that but they did help throught the lend lease program which helped England stay in the war and when we did get into it we did the most fighting among the allies even the russians. during the first world war the allies would have lost if the americans hadn't gotten involved. so we played a major part in both wars and in the case of ww2 we helped from the beginning
thats what i love so much about this series and stuff like saving private ryan, not afraid of showing when it went tits up for the allies and them getting their arses handed to em as well as the good stuff, makes a nice change from all the properganda stuff
there were more, but I ran out of room and I can't be bothered writing down the rest. Also, these are in order of the date in which they came into the war.
I just love how pillar have Christian lyrics and put them into a context like this. I agree were on the frontline so put on the armour of god and fight!

I see, that alot of you are arguing about who did the best in world war II, in my opinion Every country did there part in fighting germany. its not important about who was best, whats important is all the countries did there part. I am american and i think my country played a major part in the war, but saying we won the war all by our selves is exageration.
This one is almost as good as the one that is to Breaking Benjamin's Blow Me Away! Awesome! I loved how some parts of it had the sound with the machine guns and such!

They tried to tke over friggin Europe, and turkey didn't start WWI either, it started when Germany backed up Austria and gave them assurance of back up if they went to war with Russia. They were paratroopers and were for the most part some of the best trained. They spent a lot of time behind enemy lines and at the front line.
