Acid you should not have 2 female ends on an extension electric wire or 2 males some one could get hurt if the other end of the male accidentally plugs in before they are connected.

Could I ask what thickness cable you use for your bass boxes as it looks really thin like 1.5 mm or maybe 2 max but I always thought you could get away with 1.5-2 mm on tops but low end bass needs thick cable to deal with the power 🤜🏻🤛🏻

@@AcidSoundSystem thank you for your reply. That’s 2.5 mm. Do you ever get cables over heating from amps to subwoofers or even amps over heating due to impedance as the cable is so thin for long distance runs. I’m really interested in it as personally I wouldn’t run less than 2.5 mm for subwoofers that are in my house but for Pa use and long cable runs to subwoofers I have have always been told to go thick on the cable for subwoofers but for mids and highs you can afford to go to 2.5 mm minimum. I’m mainly asking as I don’t want to waste money on thick cable if it doesn’t make a difference 😊
Yes blessings, would be nice to see more on boxes and what are the best drivers for those boxes, I know scoops will take most drivers and still sound good, also would love to see what mid/top boxes people are using, anyway bless up from Birmingham uk .

Real copper fi true. I have built speaker cables which looked like copper, but were aluminum with some copper coating. Chiey dem clever, but can't ketch me.

220 only allows the amp to run more efficiently. If the system is having problems on 120 it has other issues.
@perfektindustries8952 So your saying a passive sound with power amplifiers should be able to plug into a 120 wall outlet and not have any issues? I just want to make sure I understand you correctly
@@AcidSoundSystem I’m saying that it should be able to run on stable 120. Not a wall outlet. I already see the system has the distro, so I doubt he was plugging that in to wall outlets. And when you say 220. Are the amps actually seeing 220? Or did you mean just plugging into a 220 outlet?

@@AcidSoundSystem I was trying to say those amps should run fine on a proper 120 feed. Those amps should be able to play those boxes without even driving them too hard.
