    Just great to see a craftsman att work in any trade. Living in Sweden, welshexpat, don't see lead work here. They use Plåt, ploat, basically electro plated/painted tin plate. Big business. But just as skilled. Not as easy to manipulate as led. But used in flashings and windowsills over top door step etc Basically the same expensive labour intensive but very low maintenance. Love your videos mate.

    In my territory now I make in the region of 1000-1500 of them a year my biggest to date was 600 dia by 450 high ended up weighing about 48kg

    You obviously dont struggle with propylene then!!! Couple of places have said avoid it?

      No issues at all. Wouldn’t go back to acetylene now.

      I use map gas my boss asked me to use up the company acetylene it took me an hour to get used to it again

      @@andrewlyon2707 i used map gas today but will get a propylene bottle, hard to get flame right it doesnt go round like acetylene goes pointy, looks like mateys got his flame redhot on this

      @@leadworksw Ah pitch angle that makes sense I'm guessing that's for the southern rather than Northern parts of the world since not really steep enough for taller angled snow shedding capable rooves from the northern parts of the world????

    That brings back memories - in the mid 70's I made over 600 for two council housing estates - alone !! .................................................and those bigguns can be swines
