Assassination attempt on Donald Trump: ‘Political consequences will be immense’, expert says

- The political consequences of former President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt Saturday will be immense and will “reinforce the momentum of the election in Donald’s Trump’s favour”, Former New York Assistant Attorney General Reed Brody told FRANCE 24. "Anybody surviving an assassination attempt becomes a martyr, there’s a grand swell of public sympathy”, he said, adding that Trump is likely to use pictures of the event to further boost his election campaign.

I am from Hungary. I've spent the past 9 years in the US, in FL and Chicago. And I rather have left few weeks ago, once and for all. I've been there one and a half year during Obama, 4 years during Trump, 3,5 years during Biden. I've seen enough. I don't want to become American anymore. Rather moved back to Budapest, Hungary. The country where Germans and Ukrainians and Russians escape from migration, violence and war.
