- The Minnesota Timberwolves have stunned the NBA by taking the first two games in Denver. They have completely shut them down with/without Rudy Gobert. So today we go over what they have done and how their uniquely constructed roster has made them so dominant.

4:30am was about to sleep but I just can't miss a Daniel Li breakdown 😮💨😮💨
4:30am where you at lol
Beautiful defensive masterclass. Wish the NBA promoted defensive highlights more.
I think so many players don’t like Gobert because it’s the literal opposite of what they are paid to do
-- one of the best offensive centers ever....looked like a mere mortal against an elite defense.
“ Naz Reid and Alexander Walker introduced Jamal Murray to hell”
Best line of the whole video 😂😂
Can we highlight the unsung hero of this series? Good old Mike Conley
I think the most important part is that Wolves have 5 players committed to playing defense oppose to 2-3 guys. When your best player is consistently putting effort on both sides of the court it’s a gamechanger.
Daniel li, I've missed you and this is EXACTLY what I have been wanting to see from you good sh*t
seeing the twolves be contenders is something i never would have imagined in my lifetime
That Gobert breaking up the lob to AG play is some Bullshit I have not seen anyone pull against Jokic.
I think I have to take whatever i said about gobert trade. Shiiit that was beautiful 😂😂😂
@@supernova722The Wolves did what Suns couldn’t do… keep some draft picks through 2030
However, with his absence in game two,
LeBron did something similar once I think out of a timeout where the nuggets ran a joker ag pick and roll at the wing or the elbow because he knew the play was going to be a lob to ag
I like call this predictive defense. In basketball there are really a set amount of ways something can happen. A set of ways to dribble, come off screens etc and when you watch enough film you'll pick up on how teams and players do things. A perfect example of this is Jokic dribbling in the paint, he will do the same left handed dribble until he gets you down low and by that point you're just trying to hold your ground not strip the ball so what does Kyle Anderson do? Simply reaches around and pokes it free when no one expects it. All they're doing is guessing what each player will do in a given scenario and give 100% effort and aggression. No fancy schemes just pure heart, attention and teamwork. Minnesota has been doing this all year and it's really been a joy to watch but seeing them shut down Jokic and co is astounding
Just like a pack of wolves
@@smnbrgss Exactly. It might seem like they're just being overly aggressive but they're extremely calculated and jump when they get the chance. Thats a perfect example
i thought i was tripping @ 0:26
What software do you use for video editing ?
Anthony edwards is my favorite nba player

Im really interested to see how the nuggets will adjust to this defense bc it's lookin really rough for them.
I did not watch the entire game and am no coach by any means. So take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt.
I wonder if rejecting the dribble handoff and making a cut to the basket could potentially open some passing lanes, or take a floater / mind range jumper (hopefully the wolves lemgth don't block this).
I also wonder who has a better percentage on the floater game, so that they can utilize that player more instead of Murray.
Last thing. Ik Gobert is DPOY, but is his perimeter defense insane too? I.e. could Denver try hunting Gobert for the miss match? This will get him out of the paint, but towns is always there, so thats an issue too.
Anyways, im really curious on what the Nuggets will try and do to win. What do y'all think?
I really like the videos and the in-depth analysis. Also, has anyone ever told you you sound like you need to blow your nose? Keep up the content man!
@ryankim you on thin ice with this edit 😭😭😭

Please post analysis for game 3
The only way I see Denver winning a game against this defense is through favorable officiating. In game 2 they were letting a lot of minor contact go which is good to watch, but you can easily see this flipping to calling everything in future games, especially with the NBA's reputation for artificially extending series.
This would either force the Wolves to back off on D, opening up the Denver offense or put a bunch of their guys in foul trouble, which happened a few times in the regular season. Even then, Denver would have to out-offense the wolves which is still a tall order given Murray's struggles and Ant's and KAT's heroics on that end.
Mentioning Denver and "fair officiating" acting as if Denver didn't calls not called either, Delusional lmao. Fair officiating would screw both teams, not just the Wolves as you state
In a hindsight, that's the correct answer
@@Mjdecker1234 I never once said "fair officiating". I said "favorable". I also said that I like how games 1 and 2 were officiated. Please try to keep up
It’s allergy season it’s getting me too bro
Clamping down on Joker is the key. The Joker has poor defense,is slow and travels often.
They must have been prepping for the Nuggets all year, they look like they have ESP
I wonder if the Wolves purposely lost two late season games in order for Tim Connelly to see the two teams created play against each other
If this is the best defense you saw, you need to see more. This is high school stuff
I think i know who is going to be the next Lakers coach.
Here's the deal coming from an OG..
Whatever field you're in it's the "youngsters" that keeps evolution alive...
That's called "Innovation"
I'm proud of them. 😎
But
Like some old timers, they don't want to pass the baton
Forgetting
That at one time and space we were making things happen...
😉
2:22 goaltend?
it was a pass not a shot, he tried to lob it to gordon and gobert deflected it
HOWEVER WITH HIS ABSENCE IN GAME 2
Why's your nose always blocked bro?
Slight nitpick but you do pronounce the H in Hachimura. It's not silent
you need to beat Gobert from the 3 point line
You must be young if this is the best you've seen.
However, last night
Jail
Nuggets in 7 ant is the most overrated player in the nba. Chill with this face of the league bullshit until he makes at least a finals
this will age very poorly in the next couple of weeks
@@rickystacksssure did bro😂
Wow! 14 year fan of the NBA? You need to go back to the Kobe and Jordan years to have some perspective.
Jokic likes to pick up Pivot and shoots off other foot. I hate seeing that. It is like Luka. Bad moves that people will copy. Bad for the game
why is that bad for the game ?
@@rickystackss People will use the move and the defender will call travel. The person doing the move will say Jokic or Luka does it. Which is a bad response because it is travel.
@@paulshizzledizzle6180 It's not a travel and never has been, if it was ever called as a travel it was a bad call
@@corpse6193 its illegal but Jokic sells it well
@@sharifnasser7635 It's not a travel and never has been ruclips.net/video/UUgRw8JeSwk/видео.html
God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!
