So does the same pattern in terms of the chart apply for example, if you're playing C on the A string, 3rd fret? Because then it would be C, E, B, so does the pattern stay the same up and down the neck?

Is any basic list of songs to practice Chord progressions ?
Real book get hundreds of songs but which one are basic to know ?
and which are the basic progressions to practice ?

Great video's dude and your a good teacher too. I always watch bass lesson video's and then realize I already know all this stuff. No harm in having a look though. :-) Plus,it's always good to underestimate your playing,because it makes you try harder. Therefore you'll always get better. :-)

Iv started bass and im plucking with 2 fingers but a lot of the time the strings ring is it because im not holding them right and help would be great
