CZ nerd here, the "B" is for the firing pin block, the originals didn't have one. In my opinion the 75 is the ultimate modernization/improved version of the High Power.
Close to perfection if one gets rid of the roll pin and ads more grip texture. Me thinks the best mix is somewhere between the 75BD and an SP-01. Now if one wants to carry that, you end up with the Phantom. The light polymer grip but still a decocker, approved through military trials carried by Czech paratroopers. That or a P-01. I'm waiting for an Evo variant with Czech roots. If I'm lucky I'll get it before Christmas.
@@onpsxmember P01 was my first carry gun, still have it as a backup. Mine is at about 12k and still going strong after replacing a recoil and trigger return spring
My wife picked an SP01 tactical as her first pistol, and it will probably be her last. Only downside is it's too big for her to carry, and she likes shooting it so much that she probably won't like shooting a smaller, lighter, carry pistol.
Great video . .. I like Teya’s take on handguns … CZ -75 and clones were at one time my favorite pistols… then I hot into Ruger P Series… and one day I purchased a HS-2000 when they were first imported… welcome to the striker fired world 😊 I have smaller hands … actually wear size small gloves .. And yep .. I prefer larger pistols.. full-size grips .. Glock 20/21’s 17’s and such .. also I shoot micro 9’s crazy well But lean toward fullsize & compacts … quicker follow ups
Teya's comments really resonated with me - this is a gun I have lusted after for years but somehow never owned. Every bit of this video makes me want to go to my favorite online retailer RIGHT NOW and order one. I must resist the temptation, at least until the last gun I ordered is delivered 🤩 Did I hear someone say "Resistance is futile!"?
The 75 is a great SA/DA especially for the money . I really like the P-01 ! You have to remember the 75 was designed as a military battle pistol for the Czechs while living behind the iron curtain.
I have put in flat triggers in my 40cal P226 from gray guns and a flat trigger in my Beretta 92X and it directly contradicts what was said in the video by Graham, at least in my experience, both my triggers have either the reach reduction kit, or it has a reduced reach in the geometry of the flat trigger itself in the case of the Beretta
I carry the PCR and a p365x macro at times. I had a set of Dawson sights and a trigger job from Cajun, just to see on the 75 PCR…and it’s a great gun for me. It puts the rounds on target, the sights are like having a bright dot on the target, but the other trigger was fine. The macro has a RD and I like the Cz more.
Agree with the review totally. I have a few of these and I can't shoot them as from factory: I need to change the grips immediately and then they become part of my favourite guns.
CZ75Bs are awesome. Kinda like a IMI/IWI Jericho.. But not as pretty.. These and Beretta M9s are my favorites.. Well......Besides the GP X-Cal...😅 BTW: The key to racking these is to grab near the sights in the back..
What's the tatoo on the back? Get some talon grips or those thin aluminum foils with checkering held underneath the grip panels. Maybe a trigger reach reduction kit of Cajun Gunworks. Same curve, just a little closer. If you don't like the low slide that is hard to grip there are ears like on the VP9 one can find, you can try turning it to the left too to grab it between index knuckle and stretched out thumb. The other high end solution that you saw at iwa, would be KMR. EDIT: Does yours say BD Police on the slide? I think it lacks the lanyard loop.
Back in the early 90s I found a pre-B 75, in its original box in a pawn shop. It was pristine. How it got in the US? Don't know. No back story. I love CZ pistols and rifles. I seem to gather them.
How do you know what “old school CZ” is, when you didn’t even know what the “B” nor “D” meant with the model? The B model came out in 1993 (not in the 76 or 77 as stated in the video) and it means “firing pin block.” C’MON MAN.

Totally agree

This firearm is the reason I fell in lust with CZ's and never looked back when I rented it a few years ago at the range.
CZ for life.
I have a CZ75B and I love the way it fires .you and Teya are great in doing your reviews

Thank you so much guys, I'm learning watching your videos!
So many people vibe extremely well the 75 variants 😊

The CZ 75 BD Police model has some checkering on the front and back straps.
I own three CZs. Cz75B compact, a regular B version and a Retro version. Best handguns I own.

Well I would hope a reach reduction kit would reduce reach.
TEYA😁! Thanks Graham!

GB, saw you in the OG video yesterday apparently having a good time shooting the X2's DEV offerings.
@yukon4545 yes I was in the area.

Any chance you guys can put the Cajun pro package in this? I'm very curious how it does with that compared to bone stock
Poly, alloys or steel, it's the hammer life for me. 😎
Love CZ’s.

Have 3 CZ pistols, fine guns.
P-07, P-01 Omega and a SP-01 Tactical
If she likes that pistol have her try a Shadow 2 compact !
