2022 Nissan Leaf Review In 5 Minutes

Thinking about buying a new Nissan Leaf? I had one as a courtesy car for the day, and here's what I thought about 'the future of motoring'!

The dealer should have told you that the first 1/4 of the break pedal only engages regen breaking (that's why you got the bite) - I had a 2012 leaf, a 2015 leaf and now a kona, the leaf is almost unchanged since 2012 (except bodywork) It is the stone age in terms of EVs - Try even the cheapest family EV like a Kona or a Niro and they happily do 350 miles on city driving

It was just a brief loan, but it certainly didn't sell the idea of an EV to me!

Range on that Leaf is 150 Miles.

So about 100 in the real world. Worse than useless

@@AngryBritain not in my experience, I owned one for 4.5 years & only in extreme weather conditions did it go down to about 125. Most of the year it achieved very close to the advertised 150. In summer months I would get 160. My sister has the same car & has the same experience.
