    a bit of a waste of an instrument with a lot of expressive and musical potential in my opinion. I'm not against experimental music by any means, but this just seems like a lot of mostly novelty effects in succession... I don't really hear anything interesting or well-composed, just gimmicks and noises. Would have been more innovative and interesting to, idk, write some music. Such a unique combination, quarter tone accordion and orchestra, and so little made of it
    That's just my opinion of course, other may disagree! Maybe in the room the soundscape is really impressive? From here it sounds like a whole lot of aimless nonsense and irritating whining.

    This hurts my perfect pitch.
    Edit: I dig it nonetheless!

      Es ist eben Vierteltonmusik. Eine andere musikalische Sprache. Muß man erstmal hören lernen. Aber dann ist es wundervoll.

    Definitely different. I found some parts to be abrasive but I enjoy the experimental side of classical music.

    Sounds like a soundtrack for a game or something? I heard something similar like this.

    This is, by far, the weirdest piece of orchestra music I have ever heard.

    Does he get seriously lost at the end or is it really part of the song?

      it's this technique the composer invented called cadenza. i was amazed too!

    • @cvond
      @cvond 5 лет назад +6

      I think his part is written with instructions for the player to “act” as if they are lost.
